    Best answer for me, well said jcm. Alot pf people are breeding first cross litters, alot off unproven parents not all but alot. Why? There are hundreds of lurcher to lurcher bred litters about every year from purpose bred parents and with lurcher to lurcher bred dogs you will find that they have the petential to take other quarry also. If your after a rabbit dog go veiw a few litters try and get to veiw the parents working if possoible, if you like what you see then a pup from that litter will be the one for you.     Got a dvd few weeks ago with this bitch running, unfortunatly only a small clip of her running and the quality of the film wasnt the best. Any pics of her. Any one seen her run could you share any stories of this bitch. How was she bred ie saluki x ....... and also what is the sire and dam of her.     Ime not being funny but if your on facebook try checking some lurcher for sale groups coz hindreds of dogs get sold on there, the biggest for sale page is lurchermadd for sale and swap, its a long shot but it mite pay off ill check on there and keep me eyes peeled for you

    I hunt because a love being out in the fresh air for a start, not like all the other people my age sat playing on xbox and shit like that going out drinking and blowing all there money on drink and drugs. Secondly i enjoy catching rabbits with dogs guns pr anymothod to hunt rabbits. Tbh if never started hinting i think i mite of had a few run ins with the law as i used to be a little fecker, geting in trouble all the time

    If you want to lamp with the dog id wait till end of september, take her out and pick nice easy rabbits sat [bANNED TEXT] out in the feild so she has a good chance of catching it. Once she starts catching and becomes confident with her self then you can lamp harder rabbits but not daft slips. ie rabbits sat on a hedge line.
