That's generally the time the dogs get a run and go missing ?
-
Had a cracking start to the season doing some good numbers with the bitch then she came in season mid december and not been out lamping since but more out hunting with a small mixed pack of bushing dogs and done fairly well tbh. Sometimes i need to mix it up with my hunting as i usually just flat out lamping but enjoying hunting with a little mixed bushing pack the more and more we get out.

Yeah but was almost 7 year ago, as far as I'm aware all the ones that I kept in touch with are doing well.

A dog I bred Not a bull whippet but a little bull whippet type I used to own, his sire in the picture he was some dog for fox. Real good on them in fact, useless on out else. 22tts no idea of his weight
-
My terrier is the same with hedgehogs.
-
Sounds handy enough. Shame he was a jaffa, nice markings on him aswell.
-
How did you find the springer russel fir hunting them??
-
I have a little 21tts dog you could use or are you looking for a pure??
-
Most defenitly, my terrier has killed alot above ground and on certain ground you just cannot beat a terrier in my eyes but again it's all down to the land and cover, for example your not nocking big woods out to lurchers with terriers better than these hound xs but your not going to beat a terrier in thick tight cover.

The coursing lads been charging a fortune for pups for years. I'd soon rather pay 3-400 for a pup out of well tested lamping dogs than 700 for a saluki x. Couple lads I know been selling loads of pups and makeing a fortune off them (not lurchers) if people are going to pay the money lads will keep breeding.
-
Plenty decent lads about breeding good stock and gifting dogs to good lads and selling surplus pups at a reasonable price. I mean I'd be willing to pay 300 for a well bred lurcher pup but seen some going for 600 and there selling aswell ?

Seen cockers open up, brought up to hunt with terriers it screams its little head of when it's behind something.
-
My pal runs a teckle x pat and a few pure teckles and the x bred is Miles better in every department, teckles are 1 speed (slow) the teckle x terrier gets a move on with hot scent and screams her brains out and her nose is one of the best I have ever seen

My is 9 year old and will and has followed to ground, bit of a ball ach realy but what can you do. All ways discouraged him to go to ground aswell. Even just marked to ground and dropped in.
