  1. The one i speak of its dam was beddy type
  2. I once owned a dog that yapped, it wasnt something the parents done either, i don't believe i ever over matched him to early or frustration he was possibly one of the keenest dogs i have ever seen, always thought it was pure excitement.
  3. When we talking deer dogs what species because iv seen some good saluki xs on roe and IMO there possibly the best mix for it but when its anything bigger then that the bull xs seems to do it better and that's just what i have witnessed
  4. Saluki bull grey probs my favorite mix for an all rounder like
  5. One of these deerhound x things blowing out her arse after tareing about with me mates pup. She's absolutely bouncing atm, sooner the stubble come the better.??
  6. Its a bitch mate, no i never bred her, she was bred in scotland. Her dam was deer grey but sire was Wheaton bull grey. On paper i believe she is only 1/4 deerhound. Don't reply look into lines of stuff myself i just look for worker to worker with both parents doing the job I'd want a dog to do and to a good standard. The x of a dog doesn't realy matter to me. I have only seen a few deerhounds run and they do have there place in the running dog scene but i do believe they are a better dog with a little bull or Wheaton in there make up.
  7. From experience its normaly black smooth coated dogs don't seem to handle the warm tempratures, tend to pant alot more than others i have seen.
  8. Had same x myself few years ago now he was a very good animal deffo a x id go with again in the future.
  9. Not seen it graft just spoke to lad who ownes him couple times
  10. I know who owns that black dog he lives next village to me

  12. Your right there, few people about but only seen a hand full on the hill.
  13. Had a walk around haweswater today with a good mate of mine. The weather was great sun beaming down on us all day with a nice little breeze(packed me big coat) but it was t shirt weather. Its been a little while since I've had a good walk out and i could feel it, legs were burning and lungs were pumping but we managed it. Even managed to get a glimpse of some beasts high up on the hill from the carpark using some random women's binos who just came over to me as i was trying to point them out to my mate and says here get a look at them with these. So cheers for that one ?
  14. That's them who attacked that bloke and his own door and pushed into his house, I'm sure few of the leeds lads will get there hands on them
  15. My mates teckle x patt now shes a very good bitch
  16. Im in a similar boat with the bitch i have. She's a good bitch and suits me and how i like to work and im looking at her half brother to put back to her, granted it will be breeding more of the deerhound out but still keeping a type as her half brother is Wheaton bull grey but it will still give me the type of dog i want. Big strong hairy animals with plenty guts about them.
  17. Got my first bushing dog almost 9 years ago now and I'll always keep one or two about me.
  18. Cheers mate, not that i can take credit as i didn't breed her. She was bred in scotland and there a few of her litter mates still over the border.
  19. I like the teckle xs not to keen on the pures find them about slow. Not seen any bred into beagles mind.
