  3. Thanks guys for all the hints/tips and suggestions, still undecided as to which camera to buy. However, i now have a greater understanding of what to look for, Cheers
  4. Been a proud member of club fuzzy for a number of years now
  5. Thanks for the replies guys so a good quality lense is more important than the quality of the camera itself when it comes to the action? (although both are obviously important) Didn't think this would be so complicated yet i find myself more and more interested the more i learn lol
  6. In your opinion, what is the best camera suited to taking action shots? I'm thinking of getting a new camera and will mainly be using it to take action shot of the dogs. Doesn't really matter about prices at the moment just looking for people's opinions .
  7. I've used this site before, ordered my muzzle one morning then got it the very next day, the delivery is very quick.
  8. I feed Harringtons to one of mine and have done for years now, IMO it's pretty good stuff.
  9. If a Grey x Whippet is a lurcher then why are people so bothered when other people enter this cross in the Lurcher racing at gamefairs?
  10. No doubt about it he's a cracking dog but I can't work out how you think he had an unlucky race. He didn't trap as well as what he is capable of and got slightly sandwiched at the start, i wouldn't call that very lucky.
  11. He's a cracking dog, 11 out of 11, here's the link to the video from last night in the SIS Gold Cup. He had an unlucky race but still managed to power on through!! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9VjMPhTd4y8
  12. Great pics, i know how hard it can be to get action shots, thanks for sharing them.
  13. Do you get many birds ? Lol, so that's where i've been going wrong, bit too rough like?
  14. im not sure what a dog fancier is, maybe thats what someone who keeps dogs in this day and age is called, but it doesn't mean they know anything about dogs, i kept dogs all my life same as my father and his father before him and i can assure that any litter of pups born anywhere to any bitch of any species is born with certain traits either to be the most social or the most aggressive that breed can be, these are traits that can be encouraged or neglected, all of which depend on learned behaviour, strong dogs and high drive dogs can all be kept with ease if you know the systems to work thes
  15. That's what my dog looked like who was also a whippet, is it a common thing in whippets as i've noticed others like this?

Try some of your own to mask the smell lol, failing that put a cork up it's arse
  17. The bloke that had a hold of the dog was the owner, see the caption under the first photo on the link below. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2098521/TV-anchor-Kyle-Dyer-bit-face-rescued-dog.html
  18. You've embarassed the poor buggers now lol, great pic though
  19. One of mine had a bald patch on his tail, as he got older it seemed to grow back on it's own after about a year of it being bald.
  20. The presenter invaded the dog's personal space and the dog felt the need to defend itself, i wouldn't like it if someone randomly came up to my face like that, think i would punch them in the face. That was just the dog's way of saying please go away.
