  1. anybody any links for a set of scales accurate enough for weighing pellets for chrono? got a set of ebay cheapos but they aren't accurate enough on the grains... thanks
  2. he's just put a notice up on his fb page saying he's out of regs, might want to give him a bell before you send anything to him.
  3. Thanks Si... I know you dont have your eye to the scope but I'm talking waaay back here to get the full clear picture without any clouding. might try and shift it a little farther forward on the rail and in the mounts. I think it's gonna be a matter of getting used to... Scope centre and barrel centre difference. can you explain this? pellet scales ordered, combro's watched on ebay....anybody got one they want to sell??? think I'm gonna stick with the AA fields. any ideas on a better solution than a bit of folded foil under the rear mount so the max 'up' setting on the scope
  4. thanks Mole, I've just read back through the whole thread and seen the references to chairgun. chrono is next on the shopping list... Did you have your scope mounted as far forward on the rails as possible, even at this position I'm finding I have to keep my eye quite a distance from the scope to get a good image, not my preferred position. also, any tips on something other than tin foil to raise the rear mount?
  5. Scope (nite-eye 6-24x50) fitted.... wow how far forward do you have to mount these cats!!! Max up was still hitting 1.5 marks low on the reticle so had to rise the rear mount with some foil (a tip I seen on one of the forums), is there anything produced for this exact purpose? Not had the chance to zero the scope as I lost light. I managed to pick up a rangefinder too...what an excellent little bit of kit they are. When I get a bit of free time it'll be out in the garden setting the zero (probably at 25m) and then set the marks to exact distances... any tips? does type of pellet used ....
