    hey lads,after reading this http://forums.pigeonwatch.co.uk/forums/index.php?/topic/150300-help-with-air-arms-s410-tdr/ i thought it was due to the fact that i had over filled it,although i was shooting alot lower than 6 inches. so i reset the top turret went out and setup a large peice of white cardboard and put a target at the top of it. i put 4 mags through it and it was still hitting way too low,to even get a shot on the target i would have to give it 8 mildots hold over. i then adjusted the top turret 10 clicks up to see if it would make a difference and it didnt do a thing. the pre

    wasnt even considering taking the gun apart myself mate,its got anti-tamper screws anyway.just in need of a quality gun shop now.as you said they will be able to sort the problem asap. cheers

    okay a massive thank you lads, i will try as described with the scope tomorow,if no luck i will get it sent off and hopefully replaced. just out of curiosity how much is it to have a full set of seals done ? also the gun is just below 200bar now ,what shall i do to lower it ? just take shots ? or is there some way i can bleed it and refill from there ? as i dont have many pellets left and 40 of those are going to davy , im using crossman accupells at the moment ,are they any good ? i lost my aa diablo fields thanks all brad.

    hi mate im not sure,have u seen my thread about my scope problems ? well a lad suggested it could possibly be a seal as ive also over filled it,im not sure which seal. im mechanically minded ,can rebuild my own engines etc so i can understand how things work if shown,do u have any videos ,links,pictures as to the inner workings of a pcp rifle ? many thanks brad.

    that happened when i first adjusted it pal ,it wasnt turning so i tightened the two screws and it turned properly.but didnt affect the POI what so ever so i guess your correct. Its a new scope, i will contact hawke tomorow or monday. cheers for the help brad.

    thank you mate! the former litts premesis is once again a gun shop but owned by these http://www.sportsmanguncentre.co.uk/promo/all-special-offers/ which could well be litts but under a new name. hopefully they deal with hawke so i can take it in a let them deal with it! this is really annoying as ill be recieving my lamp in the week and no be able to use just praying it isnt the gun as youve said tus! thanks lads brad.

    sorry was typing before you replied simon lol ,the only problem i face is the place i bought i from along with the gun etc. was litts newport,who are now to my knowledge bust and not open anymore under a debt of 20 million. but i think another owner has opened up in the same premesis. would you reccomend i go there and see if they deal with hawke , and then see if they can get it changed for me ? thank you! atb,brad.

    hmm i would love to buy that mtc viper 4-16x50 IR but just cant atm . also in my chinese impression ''i no no meesta davy'' . hmm tus thats very strange about it not working on the s410,surely it cant be to do with the gun!!! , anychance of you trying it back on another gun??? okay i have the box and all original allen keys lense wipe everything that came with the scope.The warranty card reads ''your new optical product has a limited lifetime warranty(legally restricted to 10 years in europe) against defects in material and/or workmanship provided that the unit has not been abused,us

    ironic that mate! i was only yesterday reading the waranty sheet haha,had a look in the box to check the the adjusters and to double check what did what magnification wise.im sure it had a 10 year waranty aslong as its in good condition and not been abused. will give them a call tomorow or monday and see what luck i get . will hopefully replace the scope!

    i was thinking thee same andy! ,to adjust the turrests from min to max and not have a movement is implying there fooked to me. But why ? ive not bashed it ,gun is like its brand new ,ive not even put 800 pellets through it ffs. yes ive had it for 3 years but its hardly been used. And i really dont have the money for a scope atm,just bought a lamp for 70 and now this .I have 140 atm but need to get my project running otherwise i wont meet my deadline! brad.

    i usually fill to just below 200 bar as ive heared its an innacurate reading when first filled as with the pressure theres heat which expands ,giving a higher reading so it ususally drops to about 190 then. okay i will reset the scope tonight and give it a try tomorow,i really have no idea how this has happened as yesterday it was firing sweet at targets at 35yards .and today this ? i havent hit the scope ,well not that im aware of anyway ,would you reccomend resetting the horizontal zero also ? or just reset vertical and go from there ? also if i was to buy a new scope sometime,what would b

    hi lads,got home from work at about half 1 today and decided to zero my scope this afternoon so i could calibrate my mildots. i started by measuring out 25metres as reccomended for a .22 by si . i then taped a target to an old slide i had and put tape around it so if i had a stray shot i could see if it was ie.low high left or right. i checked my pressure and it was just below 200bar so id say around 190bar,he reccomended pressure. i then laid out a rag the rest the gun on and a chair for me to sit on as i obviously needed the shot to be spot on for it to be zeroed correctly. i took a shot
