Plastic Barrels for beds.

Couple of blue drums I use for the terriers. I had them laying around, they do the job. Easy enough to clean out. -
Last weekends harvest. Mallard used up monday. 24hr slow cooked bbq pulled goose yesterday. First time I've cooked that. Oh and some home made bread. Spot on

Young fella gifted from a mate, 11 weeks old and a character .
-
Thanks for the heads up. If anyone sees somewhere that has stock, I'd appreciate the heads up .
-
Just pm'd you Grunter. Struggling to find anything new, everywhere I've looked they seem to be out of stock

Thanks both. I haven't got one yet DC, only been out with a friend a few times last season. The one in your pic is the same as I've used. Anywhere you'd recommend buying from?
-
Could any of you recommend your preferred locator box and where to buy from? I've read a few previous threads but they're a few years old now so thought I'd ask as technology and suppliers are always changing. I'm green as grass when it comes to digging so the only experience I have is with a yellow pieps box. Any suggestions appreciated

Thanks both. I've had that exact situation with recall Neal. Because the bugger doesn't leave me, I've struggled to train recall with him the way I usually would. I'll give the woodland tip a go. I'm sure with some time and experience he we start changing. For now, I'll enjoy the puppy stage whilst it lasts

Wheaton bull x mate, thank you

Picked her up last week. Came off a local fella through a mate. 7 month old bitch, starting to come out of her shell properly now! A real easy bitch to kennel so far
-
The little fcker beat the terrier to it this evening, his first rat and he wasn't keen to let go! It's the first time I've seen him move in anything other than slow motion
-
Thank you I'll update in the coming months.
-
I may soon be eating my words when he comes of age. I've got a lovely little ferreting permission awaiting us in the coming months. I may give him a handful of days mid to late season all being well.

Good to hear DC, I was starting to think he was a bit vacant.
-
I wouldn't necessarily say unhappy, I'd describe it more along the lines of being in a state of repudiation. I usually end up with little b*****ds, why has this one not caused me any significant drama as of yet?

Looking for some advise/opinions. I picked this pup up at 12 weeks, he's 5 months next week. Admittedly I haven't spent as much time out with him as I normally would with a pup, mainly due to it being summer which is my busiest time with work. The issue ive got (if you can call it that) is When out and about, the bugger won't leave my side. During an hours walk, he may end up a maximum of 20 feet away from me maybe 3 times, usually he's just glued to my side or strolls along behind me like an old dog . He'll chase a dummy or ball if I throw it out for him and bring it back dependin

Good eyes indeed mate haha. Beautiful area isn't it. Ive been a fair few times in the 4x4's with the boys and many a time on the bikes but that was the first time with the misses and my boy. Have you ever been into the moel prysgau bothy? ( I think that's how it's spelt) I'll dig some photos out. The hilux is a bit fat and low to be doing strata but couldn't help myself on the way back down what's the worst that could happen? We had food and water. Is that the graveyard on the banking to the right hand side of the road on the way up? Never ventured into there to be honest. I'll have to -
