The Official Chilli Plant Thread 2013
21dangermouse replied to Colonel Mustard's topic in Living Off The Land & Game Cooking
Heres the sweet chill sauce recipe, thiers no real weights to it as i do it by eye. The chillies use are Dorest Nagas and some normal chillies. This is what you need, tom ketchup, garlic puree, caster sugar, cornflour, wite wine vingear, red wine vingear and of course chillies Whizz the chillies down in a food processor, its so much easier then using a knife and gets them to the right size. Everything goes in the pan expect the cornflour, you will also need a good splash of water in their. Bring to the boil and stir to ensure everyting has dissolved -
Keep up the good work, nice stamp of a dog their. Atb dangermouse

Some sweet chilli sauce made from Dorset nagas turned out really tasty Works wonders in stir frys etc. And some more sweet chilli sauce made with everyday chillies and some lemon, thyme, garlic and chilli oil to drizzle over the sunday chicken. Cheers -

Just an update on the blue pocket rocket carriers on the above post. Been using them a bit now and my mate has had his eye on them. Yet being a tight b*****d wouldn't pay bpr prices and went on eBay. Found some cheaper ones on eBay, thought he was on to winner, the arrived and are shite some of the loops are tied to each other. So there you go folks.

Just received my second catapult of Blue pocket rocket. They are both fantastic, cracking design and with the double bands they have got some power. So if anybody has a passing interest in them and has made the mistake of clicking on the "Catapult section" , you have been warned it becomes an addiction. Really looking forward to teaming this up with 1/2 inch bb's should be spot on. So if you want to feed the catapult addiction drop him a pm, he's a top bloke to deal with. Cheers

Spotted this bag at the midland, looks pretty handy for ferreting/ mouching. As some of the ferreting i do is on my own so looks pretty useful for it as i do some miles on foot. It is desgin to carry a rifle but does the same job with the spade. Thinking about using it aswell as a longnet bag at night as i have been gifted some trad nets by an oldboy who died in the village. Have the net in the bag, sticks in the rifle bit. Teamed up with the push bike should be fun. A few of netriggers nets go in the kit bag really do rate them and excellent bloke to deal with.

If only i was closer i would have one of you.

Was out on monday ferreting for the first time this season. Just a quick trip out to my mates dads horse paddocks, to shift a few rabbits out. I just fetched a few nets, stop nets and locaters. No need to fetch my stinkers as would be using his ferrets, so the team was polly the polecat, stumpy the 3 legged ferret and billy the young hob. To complete the team we had rags a rescue lurcher belong to my mates mate, who wanted it to be out while he was at work. First warren nothing, second warren rags gave a mark so stop nets and purse nets went out and ferrets went in. First bolt and we al
