Yes my dad does have a FAC and he said its ok for me to do my DSC 1 but I have to pay for it so I need to earn some money also so it seems I need to find a course which has acsess to a HO approved range, does any one know of a DSC1 course with acsess to one???

Hi Guys. My dad said I cannot get a firearms lisence until i am either 18 and own my own house or I have to pay to do my DSC1. I was reading up on doing my DSC1 (because I have more chance of then getting a firearms lisence ASAP becausei am 14 years old) and it says candidates need to be able to prove they are an accurate shot with a legal deer calibre rifle but to handle a rifle dont you need to have a firearms lisence so I was wondering do you need a firearms lisence to do your DSC1 or not? Hey guys. My dad has said he may let me get a shotgun licence soon but he has been say that for the best part of 2 years. I am 14 years old and have done some clay pigeon shooting with basc at gamefairs etc. One of my Instructors advised my dad to get me a Licence but he hasn't yet. Hey. My dad, my mate and I went ferreting on a hill just outside of shrewsbury and on our permish we have a nice valley were we normally get about 5ish rabbits out at a time but we went on Wednesday last week and Sunday (because I was on half term) we got to the first warren in the valley and this rabbit bolted but stayed next to the hole so I darted and grabbed it and upon a closer inspection it had the early signs of mixy so we hoped we had caught the only one wif it thus killing of the diesese. Hey Guys. I am 14 years old and live in leyland, lancashire. I am lucky with where I live because i am 5 minutes from thearoun 5-6 farms. The only problem is that when I go to ask permission the farmers and landowners always say no or try the farm next door. I am always poliet and dress as smart as possible.I think that its because of my age that they won't let me on but I am unsure. Many thanks, Will.

Hello. Today I went out ferreting with my Dad and at the first warren we bolted a rabbit. On making my way to the rabbit I accidentally dropped my Dads Deben Mk1 (which is precious to him because it was his first ever locator) and it stopped working. I was wondering is there any way I can either fix it or take it to some one who can fix it for me. Many thanks Will.
