    Hi all the waiting is over they've arrived 5 bitches and 3 dogs . The first out was a big bitch which was breech i had 3 more like that and all the rest head first, it all started around 7.00pm tuesday night last one out at 5.00am wednesday morning long night but well worth it Mum and pups all doing well mum has her appetite back, its funny how nature works as watching her with the pups you would find it hard to believe that it's her first as they know just what to do, will get some pic's up in a few day's, I'm off for some kip now atb Ian

    Hi dave thanks so much for the advice I will keep that in mind yeah can't wait to watch them grow and develop once again many thanks atb Ian is she due this week,? hope it goes ok, and nice x as well, if ididnt have my 2 dogs ,its a x i would look at Hi bird, yes in the next few days

    Hi all , thank s for your comments, just installed camera in kennel block over looking whelping box as hoping to record pups being born plus can keep a eye on her in between me checking on her, excited is the word of the day ha ha atb Ian

    Hi all happy new year , my bitch has milk coming out her teats and I have been told this is a sign that she is close to whelping, I have been monitoring her temperature through out and its still the same, I have rechecked my dates and she still has a week to go, is this normal?? and which is the best way people have found to be most accurate?? many thanks Ian

    Thanks lads for the kind comments, i've just finished building this new kennel block and it will make a big difference when the pups come to have so much more space

    yeah northern lad been monitoring her temperature through out the pregnancy so that i know when the change comes, she has been eating a bit better today must have been a bit of a off day thought i'd pop a pic of my whelping box now all finished and yes i do have a guard to go over tub heater on wall

    yeah thanks its my nephew's showing loads of promise but even in full pray drive he has such a good temperment

    Hi all just thought i'd put a pic up of a dog off the sire i used and would like to say what a great temperment this line of bullx has and this line goes back a long way and there has never been any aggression towards any other dog or child.

    Cheer number 1 eric, done a bit of daytime with her but mostly on the lamp and she can make it look so easy with the way she's turns and all that wind and pace, she takes most quarry but can box them a bit to much sometimes for lamping but it is nice to see, sometimes with the smaller fields I run I need a bit more directness and that is why I chose this breeding.

    Hi all just thought i share the excited of the birth of my pups now only a week and a bit away, this is a breeding i have chosen after a lot of thought and some good advise off a few respected members on here, and this is what i chose for the type of land i run which consists of smallish fields with thick hedges. My bitch who stands at 241/2" tts is a line breed coursing dog out of Gary Dickensons Red which was a well known folley cup winner,who was put over a bitch called cassie. The sire I have chosen is a very tightly breed nine year old proven 26" tts bullx called micky from Manchester
