Brilliant write up mate, looks like its all coming along a treat. Doesn't hurt to spray the bottle up anyway mate, over time it would have probably started marking or chipping away anyway.

Sorting out the pellets with dented skirts will help as well.
Its the only thing that lets down Air Arms Fields pellets !
I was a great believer in dented skirts on pellets making them useless but recently did a little test at the range.
I placed about ten pellets that had damaged skirts in a pile and then used those pellets to shoot a group at 25 meters. Suffice to say the group didn't look much different to that of a group with good pellets. I think unless the skirt is completely squashed in the amount of air pushing it out actually straightens out the kink or miss shape.

Outstanding effort mate! Takes some bottle to go attacking your pride and joy like that so really glad it turned out ok for you. That stock looks like it had never been painted so you have done a really good job.

Nice work, I was going to get my S10 tuned up by the man himself but sold it to fund my next rifle, shame really, I wish I had kept it. Brilliant rifles!
Hi mate,
Every tx or pro sport from the factory is slightly different with how many washers you get with the spring. My pro sport had no washers just the spring! My mates pro sport had 2 washers and the spring!
Julian bond on the air arms owners forum is the chap to contact as he sells all official air arms parts at a discounted rate direct to your door!
Ask him for a service kit for your tx and tell him you want a spring that will nearly run at the required limit without as many washers.
Although I would be more than happy with the power your tx is running at and wouldn't
Malc Bernard uses one from country pursuits tv on youtube. Some of his clips he shows his and uses it. Think they were one of bsa's better pcp's.
I've not used one but a chap at my local club has one and he loves it.
If I were you I would personally purchase a cs500 stock in walnut from Sheffield custom stocks! I get on better with sporter stocks over thumbhole stocks.
Just my preference mate.
Should cost in the region of 160 quid or there abouts but best to give them a ring or email for up to date prices.
Cheers

Well done buddy, I think its important for kids to learn such things early on! Its the wife I'm struggling to educate on hunting and eating shot game! She is of the opinion food grows in plastic containers at the supermarket! Lol
