I've been up today to tell them, although they said I can't put an interest in til Thursday (which is when I took her). Alarm set to ring them haha there will be a happy end to this story. That's completely different, the separatists of these places can't leave without the agreement of their unionist neighbours. You can! Separatist/unionist divisions are inconveniently purely political and not geographical despite the separatists wanting a geographical divide. Alright bud, thanks. I'll just not bother with another yet. He's only 7 months anyway and is coming on great, so I think that sounds about right in what your saying, i'll just focus on him. While i'm here, would you mind giving me a tip on how to best introduce him to coursing? Up to now all I've been doing is taking him in the woods and fields, letting him see a couple of rabbits, sniffing around warrens etc. Cheers drop me a pm and ile try and get you out for a run atb mc

i wouldnt advise getting another,i,would advise putting all your efforts into the one you have,and making a good dog of it,and as for this lonely rubbish and he needs a companion thing,dont put human emotions into animals,just give him your time and effort,make one good one not two half ones,but your going to do what your going to do regardless of what anyone says on here,so thats my last imput atb mc

I wanted a companion dog for him to go out on walks with as well, plus the new pup can learn from my Whippet while it's growing up. But I'm not that bothered about going out with other people to be honest, I'd rather just do it myself (not very social lol). Cheers though good sense from desertbred mate,unless you have time to train to pups seperately,all the pup will learn is bad manners and running round like a looney whitch is what pups do,and what can a pup learn from a 7 month old whippet whitch has done nothing ???

Thanks for the reply. I'm completely new to hunting with hounds, as I used to shoot on my permission with an air rifle (which I no longer have). I have a pure whippet pup that I'm bringing on at the minute, so something that would pair well with him when out hunting. The main quarry will be rabbits (are hares even legal to course?) and I'm not in to the idea of fox hunting lol. I'd be going both lamping on a night or just out during the morning/evening, and the fields aren't very big, just normal grassy farmers fields. Another factor is the look and size of the dog as I don't want it to be TO

i don't think there would be many dogs out there that could do 7 nights a week especially on its own with out being too sore(well I know mine wouldn't be able to do it they would be laid up for a while)unless your running Bunnys. Running Bunnys only,night after night,will test the character and physicality of the finest bred mutt. got to agree there mate,but if your not going for numbers,just one for the pot or ferret food,or dog food you can run them pretty much every night,we did in the old days atb mc

to be honest friend asking opinions on any bird is a waste of time,to many variables ie breeding stock,whos flying it,time and quarry flown at skill of person with bird etc,you any where near dullstrome ??? It's always good to get an honest answer. No I don't live near Dullstroom. shame i would have put you in touch with a friend who lives and flys there ,what you flying your african gos at and do you fly it on the lamp,know a lot of lads flying on the lamp out there to various quarry with the bigger birds,would like to see a pic of it atb mc
