if a dog bites someone ,then its the fault of the owner for not teaching the dog its boundarys or the fault of the person being bit for not understanding dog behaviour,dogs dont normally bite for no reason most times a combination of the two,and as for salukis most people arnt suited to the breed full stop,they need to be in the pack 24 7 jmo mc

well mine are with me 24 7 and do all i ask of them, get the bond and keep the bond ,be the pack leader if mine act thereselves they get ignored,if they run off i leave them,they learn quick belive me,i think salukis or saluki based lurchers dont benefit from pen life walked once a day and the odd days graft once a week jmo mc

agree breedings a big part mate but to many think buying a dog of good breeding for big money will make up for there shortcomings in training and conditioning then blame the dog and passe it on the next year and buy in again atb mc Agree. But if you had a pup out of non workers and a pup out of top class proven dogs with generations of competition winners behind them, put the same conditioning and upbringing into them both, what's going to be the better animal come January? Some are worth more than others for a reason gotta agree there mate,but what there worth is basically down to egos

know how you feel mate,my two thought there were called , them feckin idiots for six months, ate the kitchen,didnt want to eat good grub but would gladly eat wood,bricks plastic anything that was inedible,came in to piss n crap, robbed and destroyed everything within reach,and have done more damage than what i paid for them, got to love them tho lol wish they could skip this stage lol but they came thru ,as they all do lol atb mc

Thing is mate no matter how many people tell them they still don't buy a telemetry set because the birds are usually orate. Way I see it is find your bird once and the telemetry is paid off spot on ,you wouldnt get a dog without a collar and a lead would you,?? yes some people get away with it for a time,but sods law it is going to get you in the end,atb mc
