    hi mate nice choice i use the same cam and 70-80m won't be a prob first up you need to us the cam on a parallax adjustable scope, ideally side p/a just easier to use. the distance between cam and scope not crucial but i have mine quite close. when all fixed on set the cam on to manual focus then focus the cam on to the crosshairs so they are nice and sharp then you just leave the cam alone well may be just zoom in a little if needed to fill the screen on the cam. (you will need to set to manual focus each time you go out as the cam resets to auto focus after 24 hours.) then you just use

    Hi I use a Sony hdr-cx6ek which is one of the best cams available or a hdr-sr7e I would recommend getting a cam with a sensor size(chip size) 1/4 or bigger my cam has a 1/2.9 chip The dcr-sr32e mentioned above is a good cam for 12ft/lb and has a 1/6 chip so won't perform as good as the cams with bigger chips.     Sorry for the late reply It's more down to the model of camcorder the distance you can get But with mine I can see rabbits to over 150yards no probs not just eye shine

    i too never have to rezero my scope after attaching the camcorder it's always spot on. but like said above go shoot a few targets and see if it changes with cam on and off

    i use the nite hunter 300mw ir with my camcorder setup and it works great would reccommend it. there's some footage i made using this laser on the 300mw ir thread in the n/v section atb mark

    hi lads i'm new to the site so firstly hello to everyone. i also have a 300mw nite-hunter laser which i use on my camcorder setup and this is the picture i get which i think is very good here's a couple of vids using the nite-hunter laser this one i was with si (zini) hope these vids are allowed on the site cheers mark
