    Well my cheque was cashed yesterday so I am officially paying for a service. I have a felling that isn't going to make a difference

    Result! FEO called today and is interviewing me on Monday He did however say that the paperwork would take 8 weeks after that Best stay off the online gunrooms for a while

    My mates variation has been in for 6 with our local force I'll keep on eye on the cheque as I expect that will fly out of my account.

    So after years of borrowing gear and shooting with friends I finally got my backside in gear and applied for a SGC. The pinned post at the top of this section was very useful, so thanks for that. Cabinet is installed and looking sad with only my knives and a foam dart blow pipe inside! Forms went in last Monday and I took great care with them, attached the cheque with a paperclip and left the 4 photos in a card mount. Hopefully my attention to detail will impress and i'll get a visit rather promptly. Fingers crossed!

    My wife said she's not having gun's in the house. Bought her a new coffee table at the same time as my cabinet. Cabinet arrived yesterday coffee table in 2 weeks. Result!! Pass the hammer drill dear

    Hi all, A quick hello, although I'm sure I was registered on here a few years back. Forgotten username, password, email account etc, etc,,,, Anyway, Hi! Been around firearms for years but always shot with a friend. Finally decided to get my backside in gear and fix this. I have just ordered a gun cabinet which should arrive on Thursday. I followed the advice on this forum regarding SGC application and that goes in the post tomorrow, so just a waiting game now. I've applied to Northants Police, so any guidance on timescale much appreciated. Will be putting a lot more effort into cl
