Thankyou tuffty, might give some stables a visit and have a look about. I never seem to come across any rats whilst out on walks, I regularly visit LV parks but I suppose I'm not looking in the right places! I use to breed rats for snake food a little while back and she's had some of them that got out in the shed but she don't seem to shake them when she catches them, it's more of a crunch with the jaws then a little sniff.

Anyone in the cheshunt/ Hertfordshire area out ratting with terriers who wouldn't mind a tag along? I have a black and tan JRT bitch who is 3 years old and I would like to get her to try out ratting. I've tried local farms ect but having no luck.

Looking for a Jill in the Hertfordshire (cheshunt) or London area. Not fussed on age, as long as friendly and no red eyes! I'm new to fereting.. This will be my first ferret.
