Make it legal but only using traditional longbows no fancy compounds or crossbows, the draw weight alone should filter out most of the dickheads

Totally forgot I posted this thread! In the month since I posted it she's been on the cranberry concentrate pills and she hasn't had another infection (touch wood!) and seems generally better in herself, no idea if that's down to the cranberry or because the last course of antibiotics was longer and a stronger type of antiobiotic but so far so good and I'll be continuing with the cranberry because I can't see any harm in it and they may well be what's put a stop to the infections. She's had all manner of scans and tests and the vet is confident there's no physical problem causing

Not lurchers but I use Vitalin Active as a base with fresh meat and scraps added for all my dogs, keeps them in good nick with good solid shits so I'm happy Comes in at about £15 a sack

Is this why no women post on here any more? They were all run off by the perverts in the chat room?

That's fair enough and I'd never knock someone for having fieldsports higher on their priority list when it comes to deciding who to vote for. I know for plenty of folk it's right up there at the top and especially for someone in your position that makes perfect sense.

Things like the National Investment Bank, Renationalisation of key industries, building more social housing (even though that would most likely hit me in my pocket!) and just generally the economic plan which is always the main thing I look at when considering who to vote for. Or in short all the things BH would label "freedom hating communist shite"
-
Can't see that happening but aye I probably would depending on the rest of the manifesto, then I'd spend my time lobbying MPs to vote against whatever bill was put forward. I've never been a single issue voter and fieldsports will always be low down on my list of priorities when it comes to choosing who to vote for, there's more important things to consider when it comes to running the country than making sure a hobby I enjoy is a protected IMO. Would you vote for a party that promised to repeal the ban if you strongly disagreed with them in every other area of policy?
-
I don't agree with banning shooting on Ilkley Moor so I won't be defending the decision made my Bradford council I've never said I agree with everything all parts of the Labour party do, it's possible to have disagreements in some areas while still supporting the party as a whole

I've watched the first 6 episodes so far and really rate it Definitely worth a go if you're looking for something to watch.
-
Aye you make a good point pal if a candidate emerged with the sort of grassroots support that made them look like a sure thing the MPs could probably be persuaded to get behind them regardless of whether they really backed their policies or not but for long lasting change the party apparatus would need to be changed too.
-
Spot on but the problem with that is the way the leadership selection process is done in the Conservative party with MPs holding so much of the power (remember May never even faced a vote by the membership) entryism is almost impossible. You certainly couldn't pull off something like we did with Corbyn in Labour or what Trump did with the Republican nomination.

Apparently Farage is considering starting a new party if Bolton is ousted as leader of UKIP. https://www.express.co.uk/news/uk/907653/nigel-farage-ukip-henry-bolton-meghan-markle-aaron-banks-jo-marney

UKIP's ruling body has passed a unanimous vote of no confidence in party leader Henry Bolton following a row over his 25-year-old girlfriend. The party's National Executive Committee (NEC) held an emergency meeting on Sunday after married father-of-three Mr Bolton, 54, faced growing calls to quit over his relationship with model Jo Marney. Mr Bolton ended the "romantic element" of their relationship last week, when it emerged party activist Ms Marney had sent offensive messages about Prince Harry's fiancee Meghan Markle. She was also reported to have sent separate messages makin

They had armed police and the helicopter out when one of those big stuffed tigers was spotted in a field a while back

I think it was more like £40 million spunked on the garden bridge and then a few million wasted on exploring the idea of "Boris Island" and let's not forget that fecking stupid cable car across the Thames. Boris seems obsessed with these big vanity projects that he can slap his name on and trt to make part of his "legacy"

JPMorgan has already bought an office block in Dublin with room for 1,000 staff but sure they'e not actually relocating any workers

They've been moving 1000s of jobs with plans for more.

JPMorgan, HSBC, Llyods Citigroup, Goldman Sachs, UBS and others are all planning to or have already started the process of moving their EU operations out of London and to other EU member states but sure you're right they're not going to move if they lose financial passporting
-
You're right there's no way these notoriously highly mobile international firms who set up shop here because of the easy access to European markets provided by financial passporting will shift their operations to a more favourable location if that access is taken away The fact that France, Germany and Luxembourg have been waiting for an opportunity like this and will be competing with each other offering all kinds of incentives for these firms to move their EU HQs to them won't have any effect at all They're not already making contingency plans and looking at where to move if the U

Failed because democracy. If the UK loses financial passporting rights a lot of banks and other firms in the financial services industry will have to move large parts of their operations to an EU country if they want to continue trading as they do regardless of what it will cost them. At the moment loads of them have their EU operations based in the UK, that will have to change without financial passporting.
-
If the UK loses financial passporting rights (which is what Macron was talking about) then basically any other Western European country would be more competitive than the UK when it comes to the financial services industry which is a pretty big part of the UK economy. He'd need to be elected to Parliament first, something he's failed at 7 times now.

Started hearing them call around here about a week ago

Why bother yourself with what a few fringe loons on the other side of the world think?

It does seem like a bit of international trolling doesn't it?

Theresa May suffered a humiliating blow as French President Emmanuel Macron delivered a Gallic slap-down to her Brexit plan. The French President told the prime minister that if the UK wants financial services access, "be my guest" but that would require paying into the budget and accepting free movement. It is a set back for Theresa May who hopes to persuade Brussels to make financial services a key plank of the UK-EU future deal. But Mr Macron said the only way the City of London could continue enjoying existing rights was if the UK pumped cash into the EU and accept the reach
