    15 weeks old is way too young to run on rabbits bud . . . take the dog out with older dogs to watch . . . i usualy start mine at 10-12 month on easy squatters and work them on to bigger stuff . . . dont give the dog massive slips that are near impossible to catch because you will dis hearten the dog, because if hes chasing an not catching in the end its just gunna think im not chasing them no more because i cant catch em an you will spoil the dog . . . just have patience and enter the dog properly an it will all pay off in the end . . . hope this helps bud . . . atb

    bit daft question . . . its like saying why are some athlethes better than others . . . ? who knows not me . . .? my opinion is could be down to genetics , diet , how fit they are, or how they were entered, or down to the trainer . . .

    i would say around 9-10 months for height an around 16-18 month they stop filling out . . .

    for rabbits i would say beddy/whippet , or whippet/grey , although i have seen some bull xs that are just as good on rabbits. train an enter the dog properly and you wont go far wrong . . . atb . . .

    just depends what quarry you are going after . . . different lurcher crosses have advantages on certain quarry . . . .
