    dude get some jsb exacts or air arms field they are excellent in my gun. get some range time with them punching paper 15 - 40 yards once you get good groups you will be fine say half inch groups at least under and inch. use a good rest and aim behind the eye of the rabbit. you will be fine. good luck

    i am happy to shoot foxes with my .22lr out to 50 yards. yards at a push or 100 with velocitors but only off bipod and if i know the range accuratly. i think the .22lr will kill a fox past 100 with subs but it has to be spot on. i nver like to take these shots out of choice. the confidence isnt there after say yards generally. most of the time i fox shoot at night. for me at night, range estimation is harder unless i know the range is 50 max.. its more 'how accurate' can you shoot in the conditions you find yourself in ie light levels, shooting positon, rest stability, wind, ston

    to me barrel cleaning is another topic that is open to debate and one of personel prefferance. my preference is to pull old bits of towel through the barrel with washing line from wilko (99p)!! every 50-100 shots as the barrel on my 22lr seem to get bits of muck up it after a few shots. after the pull through the groups are as normal no releading needed. the reason why i do this as i like to look down the barrel and see it nice and shiny but also becuase the groups i'm getting are good, especially today when i got my personel best using eley subs and cci velecitors at 50 and 1

    hi P. welcome to the site, its a great site. i have not shot one but have seen one in the gun shop. they seem well made and very compact. a little to short for me unless i had a moderator on the end to balance it out when firing. if you look at any other's i could also highly recommend a browning 52 if you ever see one second hand. also the cz 's are a good choice with aftermarket trigger's available. good luck with your application.

    ive used the captive bolt many times and never had an animal fall on me or kick me while stunning or while pithing. its just a case of watching where you stand relative to the situation and each procedure. just remember to pith or you may find one 'wake up' when on route to the incinerator!
