  2. they are survivors they have proved that but no animal is impossible to eradicate. I believe fox cubs should be aloud grow so then there is the best chance of the best genes being past on which helps ensure a strong and healthy population. I believe that for all animals. shooting every cub you see doesn't allow natural selection to happen. question: how many cubs have any of you killed so far this year? 'no animal is impossible to eradicate' that's a strong statement. TELL THAT TO THE WHITE AUSTRALIAN FARMERS SEE WHAT THEY SAY ABOUT RABBITS and eradication!!! AND OH HAVEN
  3. please tell us more rimmer. I have seen many a fox walk right past a number of still rabbits in a field with night vision where the fox literally walks two feet away from one or two of the crouched bunnys with no change in the fox's walking pattern. I think it is near impossible to eradicate foxs. they are born survivors.
  4. cz .17 hmr american 16" heavy varmint barrel with after market edger brothers trigger kit fitted. will shoot clover leaf shots, very accurate. £300.
  5. interesting point : mostly foxes do not eat healthy rabbits.
  6. a daysate can even kill them when the barrel is faulty! but i'm sure a theoben would do the same or better as the barrels don't move on them! i got 15 in total that day.
  7. My Rapid TTR 1 with Falcon Menace B20 ret scope weigh 14 lbs , The MK 4 trigger fitted to the newer Rapids are superb just right factory set. Also The Rapids in FAC with the standard long series Silencers are By a Long Distance Quieter than the Wolf and in sub 12 ft/lbs, I had a Wolf MCT but was louder than the Rapid even with the MK 5 airstream fitted. Reference parts their Cheap if you go on the Theoben Rapid forum and ebay. Accuracy on both are superb as stated. atvb Daz 7. that's because you put a heavy scope on it I'm not just using the daystate reflex mod to test this
  8. Charlie and his food chain cannot just turn his gas boiler on when its minus 5 for days on end, with the ground covered in snow, like we can in our homes. or drive to Tesco to find food. conditions have been relentless. I know this as I live on a windy, cold moorland edge and my heating system died a cold death this last winter. it took me 5 weeks to sort it. my house was freezing. The ground was covered in snow for long periods. My transport was stuck on the lane for 1 week during the snow this year. as I live and play in the countryside, work from home on a moor I can start t
  9. well I did tell you on the phone a month or so ago that among other factors, the poor winters and summers will have had an adverse effect on all wildlife on which the fox rely on not so much in the towns and cities but more so in the countryside. I bet that's the pastures you are referring to in your thread opening? as for the other debate, there is purpose to all things, and very good purpose to shooting not least, in the form of effective land management, conservation and habitat management and balancing and managing wildlife to promote biodiversity and restore some kind of balance to a
  10. cannot speak for the air ranger as never shot one, but the airwolf is similar to the ranger apart from the electrics. I would say the airwolf has a superior trigger to the theoben mk11 trigger which I have been using today. rapids are very well built and lighter than the airwolf. less weight at the front. the airwolf is heavyer and more front heavey by a little bit. air wolf is slightly quieter, at fac level anyway. sub 12 I would say both will be very quiet with the shroud giving the edge. people say that daystate's service is amazing and 110%. well that not my experience totally
