  2. And here is me thinking of selling my cz452 for a 10/22 shame on me
  3. I must be doing something wrong as i have a few round here and 1 in particular that seems to like calling for me! Last night, just gone 11 and i'm in bed, knackered. Mrs says "do you hear that?" "Hear what, says me", almost asleep. "Your fox is calling for you", she replies. Guess what, it is only back in the rear garden waiting there! I feel like i've had a friendly relationship with this thing, given all the times i've been out squeaking at it, then it back at me. So tonight is the night, 243 at the ready, wind seems right at the moment and i can upset the cat by stealing her food and

  5. i'm using the hornady 95g SST ballistics and the Privi 90g SP which are cheaper I'm zerod at 100 yards as the drop off at 200 is tiny due to the flatness of the 243.

  10. Slightly off topic but can anyone advise the best method and what to get / use for cleaning a 12bore? I got mine but havent had time to fire it yet, partially as i'd like to know how and what to use to clean it etc.

  12. Never been beating before so thought I'd try it at a friends shoot today. First couple of drives were good, guns got a few but then the heavens opened. 2 hours later we were all soaked through, alleged waterproof gear from all makes: oil skins, sealskins, jack pyke, le Cham etc and none kept us dry. At lunch time the guns had dropped in numbers so we called it a day. Pity as I was just getting really into it. Next time maybe be better weather.
  13. Cz452 style in black synthetic and stainless barrel is mine, don't get the stainless barrel or stainless mod or you will get glare off a rifle mounted lamp
  14. Rich, we won't need a cull at this rate!
  15. My free stander got blown over in the wind
  16. Guys, are they not done for the perceived taste of the customers? The forces generally have a very rigid cleaning routine, are in all manner of places and generally end up spray painting to get a suitable camouflage effect for their given location at that time. Each shooting discipline might have different perceptions of what they think they need in terms of stocks, barrels, etc Surely (and i'm really new to all this stuff so have nothing to base an information on) some people's perception when they look to buyt was that synthetic would be better in the rain or damp than wood. Now if
