  1. That's just it Ian, TJ's only bother or can only test out to a very very small range and do not like offering refunds or exchanges. I've not got one for several reasons so can't say I have first hand experience of this but I did have the same thing with a spotter I bought from S***2*
  2. The facebook forums have some lengthy comments about them and threats of legal action about the repair and testing process
  3. Beware that they are getting a loot of bad press at the moment when they go wrong. Forums are getting more and more comments about when they get sent back and checked and still come back unfixed. There are lots sold and i'm sure lots have no problems but I personally know 3 people that have had to send their back at least twice each and 3 times in one case.
  4. Doesn't come with much then! Slight errors in the listing buddy.
  5. got one on my rimfire and its great. works well daytime and is great with the add-on at night
  6. Some folk just seem to be magnets for new permissions whilst others really struggle. Really odd
  7. Nice one Rich, this fog and mist has been a right spoiler recently.
  8. Yukon Photon XT 6.5x50 £419 new £350 used Probably the best you'd get for that sort of money. Good bit of kit too.
  9. Went out with a friend last night and he called one in after 5 or 10 mins
  10. Not yet, for the same reasons that Ian mentions
  11. That's exactly what I was looking at but then read their international policy and wasn't sure if I could actually buy it? I'm hoping it'll improve my mount/stability too as I have found the factory T3 stock wank in all honesty. It will mate they are very stiff, and have two steel pins in the stock cross ways to add to the rigidity,I was going to glass bed mine, but after fitting it I found it not needed, it turned an already accurate rifle into a tack driver. I had mine bedded and it's working very well (with the right ammo)
  12. Hi, Anyone got one of these? I've seen the old one at dusk and dark and it's great but how are they in the daytime? Anyone got comparable video clips of day use with the old black and white and new colour views? Cheers
  13. Are the XD19's Thermal Units any good?
  14. Had great results with my hawke 8-32x50 out to 600m and lamping out past 200 yards on rabbits
  15. It was a great bit of kit and perfect for a rimfire but the bit that got me was how awkward it was in the day time. Perfect at night but the shooting I do can be both day and into the night and personally i think i'd find it easier with an add-on. Ideally i'd get an add-on for use on my rimfire and a drone pro for the 223. However, i've been converted to a thermal spotter and use a t50 on top of my rifles.
  16. Was it cool for the change from 50 to 75? Presuming not. Maybe it's just glanced off something or you might be twitching due to the distance change. Seen that happen loads on the ranges where folks (sometimes me too) are too quick to look up and not stay through the scope and this happens.
  17. Well worth £400 for one plus a 2.5 doubler......................... in the sale section
  18. True but it had better be an open shot because you can't see foliage etc along the bullet path with thermal.
