  1. Hello boys and girls, My sincear regrettable apologies, ill be working this weekend. . . . Unforgettably as well it is the first year date of my Nan passing away, God rest her sole... I was looking forward to getting some Davy and Zini tuition and help with the calabration of this scope haha (still in the box ) and have a crack at this long rang challenge haha. Unfortunately it has fallen at a awkward time, however I do wish you all happy hunting and good times and weather for the weekend. See you soon Si and Davy... and LJ Gaz
  2. It was first played when I was younger, and it has stuck. It popped up on the you tube playlist I was listening to though I would share.... >>>>>>>>> <<<<<<<< Listen to it all makes sense... ok its American based but put into British context it makes sense haha Gaz
  3. I agree mate, its the shooters limits which dictate what shot can be taken with an air gun out to 100 yards, my range now is around 35 m which i practice in the garden all the time... (even more bang on after some Davy and Si tuition haha) to make shots at that range, but 50m is my next aim to shoot consistently 5p size groups. Its all practice, Si, Davy, your self Ryan all are out every other day... Maybe Arm Chair Shooters should dust the field boots and get out a bit more. It says Australian Larger on Fosters (its brewed up the road from me), just because the 'official' word is one thing th
  4. Well well... its all a bit fruity here haha.... well fact i am very new and would not argue or profess to know more than anyone, as I guess your all older or wiser than me as it stands. However as a lay person I can comment on Si, after observing him shoot. So here goes... And for any one who think, here he goes 'bigging' up his mate, no not at all just facts here, I personally have seen and witnessed Si shoot at what the air gun magazines would class as out side the capabilities of an air gun. He also in front of me in four shots three twice, cut in half, with his .177 a broom st

  9. We now now the secret haha.. looked at the secret meet site on Google earth looks good haha . I would like to see the true capabilities of both you and Si shows on this forum, just to show the real attachments which can be made. However I do take on board the issues of posting such material, with people who seek to cause trouble or are jealous. Gaz
  10. I saw both in action and mate either way, if you learn the capabilities of your self, and the rifle will just do its job. Both Si and Davy pulled off some awesome shots and the guns both looked good. I personally am thinking of the R10 for my self. So i understand the frustration of which to get, I picked up the guns had a look what I felt comfy with, did some pro's and con's and then listened to the advice looked what each gun could do. Good luck mate, I hopefully will have my r10 within the next month haha, also are you going .177 cal or .22?. Gaz
  11. Tanican, Hello mate, nice word there and yeah Si is a top bloke as is Davy. The insight would be that, providing you and you rifle are capable, more the shooter.. Shots a very long distance are achievable. Providing that the conditions and shooting principles are followed it is very reasonable to shoot very long distance and not feel or worry about not delivering a humane kill shot. The distance I talk of are long, I would not like to say how far as without seeing it it would just provoke controversy but I witnessed some shooting that was top class. Also the importance of having the rifle set
  12. Hello Davy, Yeah I certainly will keep up with the long range shooting, and also practice the standing unsupported shooting as well. I was certainly enlightened to the capabilities of sub 12ft lb air rifles , well the crow was any ways... . Will get me self saving for a r10 I think... then get some serious shooting under way. I wont forget mate, I will have a word with the boss see what she say... and ill drop you a text or pm mate. Keep safe and see you soon mate. Gaz
  13. haha I know I feel bad after doing hours awake yesterday .... well hope dog ok mate. When you off squirl bashing then?
  14. well poor Rodger got it in the neck then, would a simple 'no mate, the law is.... and then tell him. OK his post was miss directed, but he without sin cast the first stone?. . . i know my stone would be staying in my pocket, I like all humans get things wrong. Seems a sad fact that on HL minorities act in a very discourteous way... . For the write up well done, should come along and show the air gun skills at a meet Duncan, I am hope full going to Si's and Davy one.... Hope the dog ok Paul he is a cracker. ATB Gaz
  15. yeah mate, the shots ref to mate were bang on, in fact if I hadn't have seen I would be sceptical. I felt I shot ok, with the PO issues and that, just the standing shooting I want work on now mate... The pigs were brutal with the rats if they dropped into the pens... . Thanks again and ill defiantly do that again buddy. Gaz...
  16. Was a top night, load we couldn't get to or were in the cavity, all in all a good day out. Think the new rat posion which they are on now has dented them loads, so Davey and Si lead me to believe. Gaz

Hello people, After talking to a very prominent member today (someone always on this section SI), I went to a few shops, asking for some 5.53 pellets and well, I though I had like three head or maybe I had asked for there Mrs numbers... Took me a few shops (4 in total) to find what I wanted in the form of some H n N Field Target Trophy. I though that the 5.53 would be something that was very easily available... Today however I was was enlightened to the truth. Also I was looked at very funny for shooting .22 ... REGARDS GAZ

Hello People, Been having a clean out and found my ghillie suite, It is a 'clock' type which is ideal doe stalking and static work, also this has gloves size large with ghillie attached to them. This is a suite which was originally top and bottoms, so I modified it and added British DPM net, green elasticated loops to add in veg from surround area and also I have made a rifle wrap to cover the gun with. Looking for £70 ono F/F preferred with the recent scams on here think its best but will post at sellers cost.... If you need pictures I can send them as soon as I am able to take some pictu
