I’ve got a def jack here now and it’s a f****n pain on walks sometimes but most of the time I turn round he’s there so not too bad, he will be around for a lot longer yet as he has always done right by me and given me so much sport over his life time so I will return the favour and give him what I owe him

First dog an it’s half saluki lol ur brave good luck, get a decent pair of binos so u can watch it disappear in to sunset when it catches it first rabbit

Yer I don’t really notice a difference of how it grows back and to be honest I was a bit worried about that before I did it but just got sick of stripping him 3 times a year and he didn’t really enjoy been stood there for an hour an half having his hair pulled out, now it takes about 30 mins and my fingers don’t hurt afterwards

Before an after pic, I’ve got wahl multicut ones, you are more than welcome to have those if u pm me ur address, they just weren’t very good for cutting my dog, could just be blades needed sharpening, they were fine first few times then took ages, the other thing I got told after I brought another pair was the dogs coat may not have been clean or dry enough up to u though more than welcome to have them

Andis are the ones mate they are just shy of £200 but I messed about with 2 pairs of cheap shite ones and one of them was wahl and neither would even cut my pubes so I brought a pair of the andis in the end and had no problems since, I clip my dog 3 times over the summer an all good, u can send blades away to be sharpened or just but a new one for £20

Yer fair enough I’ll probably wait until next season then, would you take him for walks off the lead though ? At the chance he might find something to run ? Can’t keep him to the road and on the lead until next season

Yer I know what u mean but the other way I am looking at it is if I wait until next season to run him he could go lame again first run then that season will be knackered aswell, where if I give him a run this season then I can have his toe off and he can recover over the summer and be right for next season, I don’t know what to do for the best
