My neighbour has a toy collie pup, fecking thing yaps all the time. She said it stops when she picks it up... ...I asked about the yapping in the morning, early! "He yaps while waiting for his food and stops when he gets fed"...f*****g priceless! Not to bothered during the week but I did holler out the window at 6am last Sunday and it stopped... ...I don't allow my Meg' to bark at home, unless it's cats 'n fox's winding her up I can put up with that

I presume you meant DON'T condone! Vermin's vermin lancer! Rabbits breed all year round in some places. I suppose you're against pigeon shooting as well!...and mans most fearful enemy the humble rat!

Lurcher won't leave dead animals alone

Don't worry about it shushy it's a pup thing!...I take it she's not started rolling on the cadavers yet or eating cow shit... -
Children's Benylin, raspberry flavour is good, mix with a good dollop of honey and spoon feed them, dogs love it! Can't see the point in pouring the honey over their food and I believe spraying into the dogs throat will piss them of,..just my opinion!

For some strange reason this member, 'jackyrussell', is also a member under the name of 'flapper'. He, or she, has a website peddling puppies and might be using other THL members pictures without consent.

Nice looking 'jackrabbit' that third picture.. -
I'm sure they would Fenmaster, Meg's only little and I never intentionally run her on anything but rabbits. I wopuld take you up on an invite though to see some of your land.. 6foot, I wouldn't ever intentionally run anything other than rabbit this time of year, like you I believe all game needs time out. But, surprises can happen when you're out for a summer mooch and unless I see it before the dog does there is little I or anyone can do, I would add she didn't catch it and it got clean away. Aussiewhippet, Cannon 40D. I was out getting pictures of grey partridge and kestrels when t

No, not coursing!...But!...If a big rabbit gets up when you're having a mooch and the dog's in full stride before you notice all you can do is watch, and take a picture or two if the camera is handy. Doubt if even the super coursing dogs could catch on these steep hills anyway… And a nice mud bath to cool off in.. I've put a copyright tag on them because there are some thick fuckers here that think they have the right to lift any pictures they please!

Is it lamping in the kitchen?

....He'll have a nice shinny coat now!

Walk her up to the rabbit and put your toe under it and then set the dog off.

So does that mean you/I could go to the public museum take a photo of a work of art then print it off and sell it with out recourse?.....No way who said anything about going into a museum with a camera im making a comment about photos on an open forum already published with out copy right hence they are in the public domain A museum is a public domain as is the open street and posters etc there shown. All pictures belong to someone, they are not free unless the owner says so.

More dogs don't retrieve to hand than do imo. Sometimes my Meg' will do a near perfect retrieve but more often than not she won't. If she's had to earn her catch I think she'd rather do the lap of honour than give it up straight away. However, if it's a smelly fish of the beach dead or alive she will bring it to me with out any encouragement. Have a look at all the thousands of pictures on the websites of dogs working,....how many pic's can you remember showing the dog doing a perfect retrieve?....There are some cracking dogs on these sites and some are very good at bringing back to hand but N

So, my helpful suggestion fell on deaf ears then!

....So, it would seem that you and some of the respondents to this thread think your neighbour is out of order and being unreasonable to complain in a polite and dignified manner.....Glad I don't live next to you... ....Call round with a couple of bottles and a box of choccies and ask them to house sit next time you're out all night..

Flapper, If you want some pictures of dogs from the working community why don't you go to a country show and ASK people if you can take a few snaps of their dogs? 99% of people are only too pleased for someone to take a picture or their mutt, especially if they think it will go in a publication or on a web site. Just for the record, I don't think your proposed web site will be beneficial to the working dog community! And take heed of what young Darcy said.. Don't lift pictures from anywhere with out written permission, I for one get really pissed off when someone sends me a link adver

I'd be more scared of what your lurcher will land on when she jumps blind at night!...If the rabbit goes through the fence at night on the lamp the dog should come back in my opinion. Spend your time teaching your dog to find a way through a fence/hedge rather than jump it. When your bitch has gained confidence she will jump only when it's necessary. In the mean time just encourage your dog to jump into the car/truck the rest will come in time! This bitch will squirm and twist to get through a five bar gate rather than jump it, why risk injury? If a predator injures itself it can't hunt! H -

Assuming Abbot is telling the truth! The ownership and rights to all pictures belong to the person that took the photo's, unless the rights have been given away or sold. -
Zilch!....I don't intentionally hunt big rabbits out of season and always try to avoid accidents That's a nice saddle you have there ...Do you always take a picture of your dinner...
