  8. How about putting your article on here for us to read trappa?
  9. Gett stuck in Brecon!.... Young ferrets with little or no experience are unlikely to stay down for long so don't be too worried. In all my years ferreting I've only gone home once without a ferret but came back to collect her from a live catch trap next morn'.
  10. Can't bite if they aint got teeth Wil'... ...Good you took her on board!..How did you know it was the big 'c'?
  11. I bought a DVD from a guy off one of the sites, crap quality but it was only a fiver..
  12. Double strand nets are very good, strong and light!..
  13. That's one big feck off hole Will ...Must have been four feet wide to get that deep
  14. Some ferrets are sound sleepers, I have an old un that has always been last up in the morning I can pick her up and handle her while she is still lifeless and asleep...Don't worry about it
  15. ...When they get in the wind they're gone like...... the wind!...Great fun shooting on windy days as they fly really well!
  16. Special nets are needed down south Lee... After a bit of excersise last weekend on a stray hare, I called Meg' off of course.... I noticed today that she has a special hare marking technique when standing down wind, she carries her head high and wags her tail I'll add a picture tomorrow!
  17. Wake up and smell the fecking coffe!...Put yourself in the farmers place, would you want you and your mates digging fox's on your farm!....Softly fecking softly boy!..."Please Mr Farmer can I do a bit of ratting round your barn/chicken shed...or maybe ferret the lane"...I think you might have had more luck with that approach. Try him again, but not on the bloody charlie's ..Good luck!
  18. Stick with it Will', the gcsa should earn you more cash in the future . Maybe you aint asking him the right way, perhaps he thinks you'll turn up with all your mates . Why not suggest that you and he do a spot of ferreting, he might like to shoot over them! How long before some fecker says, "feck the gcse they aint worth diddly squat!" ..Don't listen to them Will!
  19. Why do you do all that work for nought Will?
  20. Gotta disagree with Bobsuperdog, terrible attitude to have imo Reckon the farmer would love a few chav's charging round his fields at night letting of rounds at anything that moves, disturbing stock and busting fences etc....Not saying you fit the description Bob so please don't get the hump with me. To be able to walk freely and hunt on another's land is a privilege and an honour and has to be earnt. Peace and happiness to all hunters and landowners!
  21. That's because it's warmer down here Compo. The forcast is snow over the hill just to the north of me but it will be warm and mild here on the coast.
  22. Thanks Baldie, knew I'd read about it somewhere. Interesting what you say about the 'sprung' rib, Meg' has those , can't say I've noticed them on other dogs!...I thought they were air brakes anyway..
