    Well I think Bezza's got a valid point there but like others have said we must not stereo type all Bull cross owners as being numpties like Lucky for example! Lucky, you said this picture was taken pre ban...really! A picture paints a thousand words, it was taken on the 1st January 2007 at 12.01. I'm guessing the 12.01 was night time as it looks like a night time shot. My apologies if I have made a mistake! If you're going to put this kind of picture on the net then set your camera date correct be for you get a knock on the door.

    Because, it's not just the gun dog that needs training!....Trained gun dogs are in a different league to lurchers, very few lurchers come anywhere near the standard of a properly trained gundog.

    If it weighs 50lb it aint a whippet! gilly-93, difficult one to answerer imo as I don't think you'd have much luck finding such a beast unless someone has been sent down or a family bust up. Maybe re home a suitable dog from a rescue centre!...Good luck.

    So, one won't retrieve and the other eats the catch!..... Not unusual for a lurcher to have a retrieving problem, something we/most can live with...But! a gun dog that eats its catch!...Bad news and a training problem somewhere perhaps. Buy a lurcher pup if you really want another lurcher, plenty about.

    Maybe try planning ahead and get some interest befor you breed, I agree though it doesn't always work as when push comes to shove people back out but you should still have some possible homes lined up.

    Go to chemist and ask for kaolin mixture,put 10mls into a couple of table spoons of natural yoghurt, give this every 3hrs apart from that starve off for 24 hrs.The kaolin and yoghurt will reline the gut and then feed little cooked chicken and rice every 4hrs or so carry on with kaolin and yoghurt until pup gets solid. The puppy biscuits are probably swelling in dogs stomach hence the bloat.This what i have mentioned is what i have put many pups back on their feet,by the way do not give milk some dogs are lactose intolerent.Good luck mate!
