Took the young lurcher out yesterday just before dusk sat up in a corner with the thermal and a caller , I only really use her for day time hunting so didn’t know how it was going to go , she sat next to me for well over a hour perfectly still scanning the field and winding waiting for something to show ? pepper the stalking dog haha

Best season had in a long time , plenty about probably cause rifle boys aren’t driving the roads in the evening or not travelling , young bitch has turned it on and become exactly what I hoped ! Old bitch has held out till just before Xmas been in the vets tonight 3 more weeks rest and should be good to come back out on the small days ! Looking forward to bringing on a young apprentice this summer , I haven’t travelled over the bridge as much but i prefer my local jaunts any way

Seasons don’t bother me I keep all bitches they come out usually if In season and don’t really notice them working any different , maybe they do but I haven’t noticed

Iv got it now , wiped me out for 3 days was hard for the misses with the baby and dogs , I’m up and about now and seriously bored out of my skull sitting in the house

Iv seen a couple local but it’s hard finding people doing with them what I’m intending two Iv no interest in seeing a dog retrieve or barking at anything I want it for hill hunting and from what Iv seen they are really good at , Iv I’m gone pay the type money people are asking I want to make sure it’s the best I can get
