  5. If its poison and it sounds like it is, there will be blisters in the foxes mouth from burning of the poison,, know this from going to the vets with a mates dog that was poisoned.

Youre friend has done no basic training with him at all? after you get on top of the recall and other basic commands, the next step is stock breaking only attempt this when you have the other commands 100%, first permission to do the stockbreaking , this is going to be a tough step because of his age, i myself would of started this earlier on. keep the dog on a leash and walk past the stock correcting when you have to, be stern its a valuable lesson. Next time give the dog a longer leash enough for him to run and if he heads for the stock give him a tug to stop him, this way you can control hi
  17. yes tuck the best of luck with your pup, continue too road walk him, spending as much time as you can with him helps with the bonding, have you a closed yard were you can let the dog off the lead and really praise him when he comes back. Remember keep the cool and dont sicken him. you can use a treat to give him when he comes back on command..next step rabbits have you any permission to run land.

  19. Thanks mate, that has been a good piece of advice, youre right sirius its just very dry it looks for all the world like dandruff,,,, if you rub the dogs coat against the grain you really see how bad it is.. atb stripes.

I have a young dog with a lot of dry skin, clearly visible even through his coat, after many medicated shampoo washes the problem still exists,, do i attack this from his diet, maybe some oily fish any other ideas welcome,,,, or do i rub a oil into his coat and skin, like baby oil, which would be the most effective, thanks.
