Thanks for the advice BBB, your right Hahaha moll! He is a lovely little pup, yep you sure are right he is bloody fiesty... but he does like his cuddles late at night with me! The man we got him off of said i could take him to go and watch his mum work and once his teeth are all through help me get George his first rat! I will post some more pics as i think he has grown and his face has got longer!

Nice dog Paul73! Is it the pup in your profile picture? Good point BBB, my mate might be able to get a terrier bitch pup for ratting. If my little fella turns out good do you guys think it would be worth letting him sire a litter????

Thanks guys! Went with my dad to go get some straw off a mate who rears calves, and he was over run with rats so as soon as Goerge is old enough he said i could go down and sort them out! To start him off should i do the humane trap thing, and if so where i keep pigs i have some empty arks so should i put him in there with the rat and block the door? And also what age to you think would be best to start him off???

Thanks sallie! Just had his jab today and boy did he yelp! But good thing was he slept like a log! 3 weeks time he can go outside!

Cheers malt! I really am ,he is really eager to learn he now sits with a hand signal aswell as a command, and he can also stay for small amounts of time! I am really chuffed with him!

OH yeah! Can't wait he's a real bold one he's only 8 weeks took him to see my nans year old russel and turned round to see the wee man latched on to her dogs throat as they were play fighting!

For what seemed like ages i was trying to persuade my parents to let me get a terrier for ratting, as usual the answer was no. This weekend i had just about given hope of me getting one, but then out of the blue one off my dads mates text him saying if we knew of anyone who would like a dog pup, straight away dad asked for a picture and then after the exciting ting ting of dads phone we opened it to see the most lovely pup so then we said we'd have and everything is history! He is a 3/4 jack russel and 1/4 norfolk terrier will post pics soon. Any tips on training him as i'd like to get him to

Both parents are lurchers dad is airdale/collie/greyhound cross mum is greyhound cocker spaniel. What do you think of these ?!
