    that's very true neil, my mates were stopped last sunday and the police lady was informed by the uspca that anyone with hounds are killing badgers and held them for 4 hours at the roadside, she took the spades and whilst stroking the dogs asked are thy viscous? she got a sniffer dog brought out to sniff the spades for badger work but the guy with the sniffer dog must have told her she was wasting peoples time, the farmer who owned the land came down to talk to them and th police lady said that he was not to go near them incase he was intimidated by my mates, they were doing legitimate fox

    Smart? Not so f*****g smart now that he has been caught though is it. Now he'll have to walk the streets with his head in his hands, no doubt there will be alot of well deserved abuse thrown at the lad. In his career he will have walked into pubs and had drinks bought for him, i'd imagine locally he would have been hailed as a bit of a hero.     sadness will pass, but you should be proud of yourself and your dog look at the life you had together and he was obviously more than capable, a sense of great pride will soon replace your heartbreak of what that dog done for you. he will be top in your own personal hall of fame. keep your head high and celebrate his life not his death, and put the work in front of his pup and give him the chances you gave his dad.
