    you could be right, but I'm sure many would agree by using the bull in one of its forms as a cross would up the odds in favour of doing a tough job. How many collies or other cross were used in the pit to fight to death? Few I'd reckon, but this guys bitch is well n truly tested and still works with a pack of hounds every week through out the season. I'm not a fan of the bull crosses either but won't deny their capabilities

    I've a mate who's bitch helped 11 pups last week5/8 x3/8 grey, bull., she's a top bitch. 7.5 yrs old now we'll tested on everything and game as they come, smart with great nose and cracking temperament. He bred for his own use and ended up with 11 lol so some for sale. For proof he has a dog pup outa her from a previous liter and he's 3 now and he's the same and most of his liter turned out great. 100 per dog pup and 120 per bitch

    danny I found the borders have great noses for tracking deer, my mate had a pet he didn't like the dark but by fcuk he loved tracking and flushing deer and he sounded away behind them. he was great. they are very smart dogs and I found they easy to train for obedience too. good to see you still working away with yours. great we dogs

    terriers are worst off all but by being submissive in nature doesn't do well in the job theyre bred to do as they have to dominate below the turf. its always best to be able to read yer dogs to know how to prevent any problems

    skycat some pretty good points but were not all bad we have given use to the wolf/dogs to help them succeed in life too. but most in the western world love and respect their dogs that put lives on the line in pursuit of making their owners happy. imo dogs and man have been the most successful partnership on the planet. as for Russia experimenting for the past 50 yrs they just have to look at England today to see it happen naturally with the urban foxes as they are using humans as a food source, I guess that's how it started with the wolves from antiquity

    its up to you but for that doe id def be wanting a trial before any money changes hands. all her/his dogs are 100% they stand by them until you want your money back because the dog isn't a worker.

    watch out theres a big fat bitch up there whos a dog dealer, my mate sold her a pup 3 yr ago and on her way to collect it she already had it advertised for 100 quid more, she also gave him a greyhound fulla mange and offered him terriers all the time. she lies about breeding and says she sells them on behalf off her dad. complete bullshitters pedalling fcukwits.

    i believe by getting paid good money for it greed would put the lives of many terriers at risk and every numpty under the sun would take it up. hunting for me is a passion, hobby call it what you like, and the safety of the terrier should be top priority not the money for getting the fox. but that's just how I see it.

I don't condemn any form of hunting and like to see the big dogs going into the dark and drawing as it was always the test off balls luchers too. you work how yous want because it could be taken away from you in th future and then you have the memories to look at after. and if the dogs didn't want to do it then they can very easily walk out of the stop. keep er lit fellas its good reading

    depends on how long you go back. there was def a better use of russells with borders, fell types, welsh, sealeyhams, bedlingtons, Manchester, westys, scotch, cairn, types weren't really fussed about as long as they worked as a 1st priority
