  1. I haven't done it but to me the foreshore bit sounds right...it puts the WILD in wildfowling.... my friends who do it inland on reared ducks and decoyed on ponds don't say "i'm going wildfowling" it's "i'm shooting duck" so therefore I voted for foreshore
  2. I'm pretty sure Harris Hawks and Red-Tailed buzzard are considered the 'easiest' starter birds. You will need alot of equipment, not really sure what though... A HH will cost about 300 quid I think... I have heard they are quite a bit of work, you need a decent space to keep them in remember...
  3. Might be some on here somewhere, not really sure... http://www.guntrader.co.uk/EquipmentForSale/search.php ATB
  4. The way I see it you should find some sort of permission before you buy a gun, then you can't complain about loss of money if you can't find any,and if you do find some you can get the gun and know you have somewhere to go.... Common sense helps.
  5. Well he amuses me,I am young maybe my taste in humour isn't as developed as yours.
  6. But if you let her buy it you could consider it an investment. The long term bonuses could be very lucrative
  7. I have seen a few too, must be server problems or something..
  8. I think we will end up like Cain on Emmerdale and lots of people will turn on him because he's a twisted b*****d.There's always room for a "who done it" on Soaps! I want Phil and David to team up on him and murder him,or Grant to come back and him and Phil sort him out
  9. The Inbetweeners movie and series. Gavin and Stacy series Him + her series Russell howard good news Lots of stuff on BBC iPlayer, ITV Player, and 4oD to watch...on 4oD I recommend RudeTube which is a load of people doing either cool/amazing/extraordinary things or making a fool of themselves. Plenty of content on the websites I stated above and the series/movie I recommended I found very funny, not sure if you will.
  10. Do what SS said. Also i'm not sure if it is of interest but someone where I went beating had like some sort of cabinet in the back to keep his shooting stuff - drawers for guns and separate for ammo etc; it was lockable so maybe it would be just for more peace of mind as it is added security having a locked boot AND storage.Going into a place like McDonalds with a shotgun or rifle really isn't advisable haha. ATB Callum.
  11. Wouldn't it be better to get some f*****g permission instead! Yes cos it's that easy to get to get Better than getting done for poaching though.
  12. Would much rather wear tweed etc; than turn up in trackies and look like a chav or whatever alternatives you may have.. I feel tradition has it's place, and a day a week dressing up in tweed can't be that bad, especially as everyone else is...
  13. Nice to know people still show compassion for others. Glad you got your bird back! ATB Callum
  14. Sounds like one of the things people will argue for experience or 'qualifications' in... I'm just going to say I respect people with experience and the relevant 'qualifications' and I understand why the DSC's etc; can be/are a good thing to possess
  15. Just found this for you at the bottom of the sticky topic at the top of this forum section Best get knocking on doors/posting letters!

  17. You don't ask people on here to tell you where you can go with permission... you need to go round to the farms and places with land and politely ask them to control the rabbits there, and perhaps offer to do work for them in return. Make sure you are polite and don't dress up like a little chav, that will give the wrong impression - let them know you do know what you are doing (if you do...) and you can be trusted, depending on age it could be a good idea to take a parent so they know you will be responsible,i'm sure there are topics saying how to get permission about, also check the "fieldsport
  18. Ask around your local farms, lots of farms will have rats and they can't all be controlled,or even ask who is controlling them there to take you out, they might not want a young person round the farm with an air rifle due to safety and trust issues,so best thing to do would go out with someone in my opinion. Best of luck Cal
  19. Finally you posted an image instead of a link,I had been reading your topics for a while before I made my account and being a 'guest' I couldn't download the file and I like seeing the bags so a proper image posted is good! Well done mate.
  20. Had a look and I can't find anything, the East of Scotland wildfowling club seems popular, but you would have to travel..
