My bitch has a tail and has worked to ground 6 times (first season just ended) and the tail was never a problem. although she doesn't get to stuck in she just bays away nicely until dug too or bolt There is hope then!

They all adore the staff! He's as daft as a brush lol. The red terrier and the black one are litter brothers, they aren't from working parents hence their tails not being docked, but they're showing good signs. I havnt got a clue on their breeding, but as Ellis said we were told a boston terrier is somewhere in the mix although you wouldn't tell. I'm hoping their tails won't be too much of a hinderence if the do take to ground work.

Whippet99, a lot of the people opposed to hunting are also opposed to track dogs, they see it as cruel for whatever reason. Maybe he was refering to Anti's of working dogs in general? I dont know. -
Yeah price it if you could please mate, my brothers after one. Blainy

Would you post the smoker mate?
-
Hi mate is this a kennel and a run?
-
Im a newbie but I have never heard of that. Rat holes, from my limited experience, are tiny compared to ferrets, hence the need for smokers. I doubt you'll get much back on this mate. Regards Blainy

If the sire and dam are both proven workers, chances are it'll turn out ok.

It seem that around my way its fashionable to have a lurcher now, a bull cross to be exact. People breed and don't cull, then pups are given to kids who breed them again.

I lost my nan just before last christmas after a long battle with cancer, over 15 years she battled with bowl, breast, lung and brain cancer.Tough lady but her health deteriorated so quick in her final months, along with her sanity. she's in a better place now though, where ever that mayy be!

Hello mate, I did a bit of research on bedding and straw seemed commonly used, but it has its downfalls. While it is cheap and warm, it does harbor ticks, mites, fleas etc. It also gives off a fine dust that can get on the dogs chest, although a lot of people seem to use it without complaint. Try wax coated paper shreddings, less mess, no mites etc, very warm and it wont stay damp like straw, although dogs shouldn't be put into their kennel wet anyway. Regards Blainy
