So, How does it all work then? 'Excuse me officer, Whilst I was stealing stuff that poor guy down the street, there was an almighty bang! Starting to wish mine was smaller scale now! Seemed like a good idea at the time. Saw some cracking photos of 'wood piles' on Yahoo home page I think it was, a few weeks ago. Very creative stuff. Maybe that's the links at the start of your thread, but I can't open anything from here.

I just built a heap, kinda house shaped. Sloped the 'roof' with some of the smaller bits of stick, and this kinda ran the water. They have been under a good foot of snow last winter, but when the summer came and I was topping up my shed, they were bone dry. I have now got a similar problem tho.....Bigger scale........I've just gone and bought 2 Artic loads - Aprox. 50T of them! ..long story. Got to tackle that when I get home in the New Year,

Managed to avoid Nigeria, but pleanty boys here that have been there as well, and most say Nigeria is better than here! They say once you get past all the sh*t en-route to Camp, it's ok. Down here, you are in amongst the sh*t all the time! There are 'nice' (But c**tin' expensive') places you can go, but day in, day out, all the sh*t grinds ya down....even the simplest of things is a struggle. Frustrating as f**k!!! Canna get f**k all done, any thing to be awkward towards us! Seen a bit of Asia, it's FAR Superior!

How old are they before this stage? Father in Laws Jack Russel Cross is chewing f**k out of EVERYTHING!! It's about 7-8 months now......maybe it's just going to be a little c**t! Teething time at that age bud . That's what me and Mrs Me were saying, and Father in law was hoping Chewed f**k out of umpteen pairs of boots, jeep interior, hens shed, etc etc etc. Cheers

Some Very Interesting replies there folks. Would have replied individually, asking more detail (cos I can be a nosey c**t, but our internet out here is patchy to say the least ) I 'like the feel of the day' like someone said too, but been away for quite a few over the years now, always been a greedy c**t, and would have offered to work it before, allowing others with kids the chance to be at home. Not that interesting, Oil related stuff. Excellent Food aboard here every day, was here for Christmas before, and it was even better! The Crew celebrate their Christmas on Christmas Eve, then, they put on a spread for us foreigners on Christmas Day.
