Worked with a Guy in Indonesia who had an extra thumb on each hand He had them removed when he was a baby, but obviously still had the scars. Just think if he'd still had them.......Move over Elton John, Billy Joel and Bobby Crush!!!

Oh so the world is changing because we had a wet summer last year lol, behave lab. We get runs of good summers, the odd great one and runs of bad ones. Been that way all my life. Can you remember the funny postcards of rain, snow, sun all in the one day? Have you heard the saying, if its raining, give it 5 minutes....... British summer time has always been the but of jokes, do you think this only started a few year ago?It's been shocking now for the last 3 at least!!! It's not just the rain it's the temperature as well, it's much colder. If you don't believe that then you can pay the differenc

Baw's right about building on flood plains etc. The councils are happy enough for 100's of new buildings getting thrown up where ever there is space....£1000's of extra Council Tax. Then when the homes get flooded there is a hoo-haa about it all. Why do they think there were no houses built there in the 1st place! Type your nearest town / village into Google, Hit Images, and I'm sure you'll find photos of severe weather from long ago....(Well I did anyway)

Pellet Gun - anything that dared move back then. Snares next, quick go at fishing, moved into ferreting, then shot gun, then rifles. Still try to have a go at all the above when time allows, apart from ferreting...work away too much to have ferret / dog at the moment. New snaring palaver up with us is a pain in the a*se, as is trying to get onto the f**king course you need to do. So they remain on their hooks for now.

Yup, same Drs, same facilities in a lot of cases....So Dr flat out doing 'Private' work......Could this have an effect on NHS waiting lists? It's all wrong, but 'Private' fairly seems to give a better service.............Pretty p*sh actually, rapidly heading towards American ways. If ya have the $ you'll get priority.....Wrong in my eyes, but what can we do.?

I have BUPA through work, Have family Cover and Daughter got Tonsils done within a few weeks. Our own Dr said the consultant Appointment alone could have been upwards of 6 weeks. May be our deal, but got done for 2 years worth of 'Excess' is the best way I can describe it (£100/Year) but between consultant and Op their year had changed. Only used it 1 other time and wife was into Consultant within a week. Would have been sooner but wanted to wait 'till I got home.

They are always full of doom and gloom on the news about our weather / winters, But, There are photos of snow etc that was much worse than we get now. Although last year's rain / floods etc looked f***in' awful for those affected by it. 6' of Snow for 2 Months would be fine, If only we could get 4-6 Months of Heat / Dry through the summer. That said, when it doesn't rain for a good few weeks, everyone wants it to for crops etc. We're never happy.

Hello, As has been said, get onto the ferreting section and those boys will sort you out. Only thing I would say is stay away from looking in on them too soon.

Lad here at work reccons if you've got a bad cough, rub Vicks Vapo-Rub on your feet, and sleep with your socks on. Anybody tried it? Any other 'Home Brew' Remedies out there?

eat the fooker :laugh: yes that is the preferred method as all the tips i was given to stop it failed miserably Untill a few weeks ago I would have suggested the pot as well. But, We tried filling some eggshells with Mustard, cayenne pepper and anything 'hot' from the kitchen cupboard. We instantly went up to 6 eggs the next day, then 3 days later 10 out of our 10 hens! Now we are consistantly getting 7 or 8 a day, so think we've 'cured' it! Wouldn't have believed it if I had been told about it, but it worked for us fair play but to be honest i was already fed
