Its my first time abroad Just hope i dont end up like grandad in only fools Thought you got a cheap package for Ibiza last year? Been a long time now, but if you've been to Ibiza, you'll love Benidorm! I hated Ibiza, Benidorm was like a different world.....and a LOT Cheaper.. But that was a while ago.

utterly agree, couldnt of put it better myself, but when your brought up with people around you, wearing the best clothes, driving the best cars, buying houses, ect ect ect, to be anything below that makes us think were missing out, and get jelouse and depressed. but the fact is, we have running water, a roof over our heads and food, its 2013 and theres still some countries that dont have that, as theyr governments are corrupt, ect ,having to walk 25 miles a day just to get dirty water, our government is fecked i know, i myself cant change that, but atleast were alive

You're right there... There must be. We're quite lucky, as we have the oil industry supporting our corner of the country, We cover our bills, have the same unexpected things as the next guy, and not a lot left after that. I know the money I'm on and what it can pay for. I also know a lot of people on less wages, but they seem to have everything new, car, caravan, fancy big house etc. F**k knows how they can do it, Some people have got 'family' money to help them along, some have been left money, and some have traded their way up through various homes/houses. But You are 100% rig

That's a shame. Like I said, Couldn't make it this year, and it got cancelled last year, so haven't been there for 3 years If it is going down hill, that's not good news.

Fair enough, How do these shows compare to Scone? Are they as big / Bigger? Are the facilities as adequate? I have only ever been to Scone, and one other, (Game Fair-wise) on numerous occassions, and the other is cheaper, but only has a fraction of the profesionalism as Scone offers. Our local 'sports' day is more than a fiver to get in, and there realy is f**k all there! The point I was trying to make was that we don't get much of anything for our money these days, and although £20+/- is a bit of money, I really don't think it's any less value for money than a lot of other things.

They clearly state all their figures, Outgoings, Revenue, Profit and Losses in an annual publication. I don't think it gives figures per individual show, but all their figures are readily available to view. They are a fair old Organisation, heavily involved in many different aspects which affect our sport. Their are not out to skin 'Joe Public' at the gates, Also, think about last year......All that work and effort by hundreds of people, companies etc, only to get washed out and cancelled after the 1st day! Of course, if you can show me where / how I can enjoy my entry money better,

Of course, the whole set up was just over £800. But that was everything, rifle, scope ,mounts, moderator, ledray 800 gun lamp, hard case, bipod, sling,10 shot mag.....and some ammo. All brand new.... Cheers... Sounds like a good enough deal you got there. That seems a fair price for what you got. -
I don't have any, but my old man has quite a few agricultural ones. They are very good. They had a 'fair' beside us a few years ago, where there were a few of the 'artists' set up in the centre of their display, amazing to see them at work.

Quieter Cheaper Ammo. Bit less damage to carcase if you are planning on using them. Sure there will be more, but that's the main ones for me. -

Stop Moaning! I can't go this year cos' I'm away at work, can only make it every 2nd year, and got down there on Friday night last year to be awoken by a barrage of TEXT messages saying it had been cancelled. Spent the day wandering around Perth instead, and that cost a sh*t load more than the entry fee would have been!! It's not cheap, but what is? Nothing to hide, And I can see your take on it. Think I've taken a liking to this site cos of the crack, like mindedness, and we're discussing items of interest among us. Face F*ck (as far as I can see) has kind of evolved into idle chit chat and crap among folk sometimes even sitting in the same f**kin office!
