  1. What the Fox was that sh*t??? I watched it all the way through, just on the off chance someone would shoot the c*nt!
  2. Are you after Baws "THL shit stirring" title Well............... Someone already mentioned the word 'prestige'........... Pedigree doesn't mean it won't have any problems,- Health wise or Training wise. As has been stated already also, a LOT of how it turns out is down to the owner / trainer. Say Joe Average like me buys an all singing, all dancing pedigree beast.......then what..??? Get a mate for it and skin the average working man ? Who, like you or I, does what he can with it, and enjoys it while he has it. Let's be honest here, who REALLY benefits from this great 'Pedi
  3. First dog I ever bought was a field bred springer from working stock back in 95 or 96.. £35.. I'm fairly sure when I was looking around last year, that you could get a springer pup from Buccleuch (David Lisset's work) for £650.Just checked again but they are all reserved up for the next year, and no prices available. It winds me up if you can get a 'Decent' dog from these guys, what makes Joe Bloggs down the road think he can get £400-£500+? Average around our way for a springer at the moment is £350. Prices do change....Our current Woodburner stove needs replacing........ £795 in 198
  4. The point I was trying to make was how can a pup from someone along the street be worth nigh on the same as a 'fancy' one? It makes little difference to me if it is a £50 pup, or a £500 one.....but there will be reasoning behind these costs. I was goping to start a post 'Why Bother with Pedigree?'.....But that is a whole different 'discussion'...

  6. Those f**kers ANNOY me!!!! Sh*t load of £ for a MONGREL!!!......But there are even sillier f**kers actually BUYIN' them!!!!!!
  7. Your real name is not N Tebbit by any chance? You epitomise every thing that is bad about capitalism......Fcuk you yak I'm all right!!!!! TC Whilst I think the Government has a responsibility to create employment, (Although they seem to be doing a good job of exactly the oposite) I do believe if you can't afford it, you can't / shouldn't have it! Heard some daft woman on the radio just last week saying it was her right to have as much children as she wanted, and the state should pick up the tab......utter p*sh! I may like a 5 bedroom house in the centre of London.......But I c
  8. If we see 'Withheld' or 'Unidentified' we let the kids answer it! They are quite happy to babble away to them then hang up! There is another Number which you can contact (similar to TPS) which I heard about on the radio some time ago. Sorry, Don't have it on me, but I did take a note at the time. The guy on the radio explained the situation and that TPS doesn't necesarily 'catch' them all. The alternative No. / Company could get a few more before they reach you. Try Google ?
  9. Oh! And don't go taking those disability scooter things into the equation....Those Disabled Doods can turn nasty!
  10. If it's motorised atall, does it not cause issues?? Regardless or not of how it's powered..?
  11. There is an article in this months BASC Magazine too. As above, shouldn't bother anyone other than 'professional' teams.
  12. Cheers, I was wondering if that happened if the dog would maybe 'perform' for her, but not me tho.? My oldest daughter is very keen to get involved, although she is very young. That said, she does seem to have some kind of 'control' over her granda's Jack Russel cross when she is with it. I could certainly spend the time with the pup on my time at home, but I would have to watch and not over do it. Looking forward to the challenge, but don't want to cause myself any additional issues.
  13. Month and Month for me in Angola. Been there 6 years+ now, and 16 years North Sea with the occasional Asian Trip before that. Advice..... As others have said, it's not for everybody, sop don't rush out and buy the Range Rover Sport just yet. Not only yourself to think of either, your missus has to be of the right kind to cope / addapt to you not being there. Changed days now with internet, phones, satelite TV etc. If you've heard about fancy food etc etc. forget it! Yes, on some platforms / Vessels they can turn out a good spread, but a LOT of places leave a lot to be desired. It's al
  14. Well, I've got the kennel and run sorted, lead, whistle, dishes, storage bin for food all sitting waiting. But.... I work away from home a month at a time, and my intention was not to buy a pup untill I came back home to work. However, my mate has got the pick of the litter which he doesn't want / need at the moment, and is offering it to me. His dog is a grafter and has turned out well. My question would be, If I got the / a pup whilst working away, would it still be possible to train to a reasonable standard, or would it have forgotten everything by the time I arrived home again?
  15. I had mine on a stock car No. Plate. At the time thought it looked like it sounded like 'Oh for F**k sake'
  16. Most times to stop you breeding and competing with them in the puppy sales. Some breeders will lift endorsements after the buyer of the pup has met certain criteria, IE, you have any health checks relevant to the breed carried out, eyes, hips etc and the dog is a certain age before being bred from. Cheers, Gotcha now!
  17. So what could be an example of why someone would implement an endorsement? eg:- If the pup was born deaf? Is that the kind of thing? Excuse my ignorance, just curios.
  18. There may be one, and I haven't came across it yet, but, Is it possible to have the facility to 'save draft' of any thread you were trying to compose? Or, at least save it for so long, so if you've just spent 10 minutes typing something and your computer / internet sh*ts itself, you don't have to start from scratch. Also, sometimes it's easy to babble on a heap of rubbish, but if we could 'edit' a draft, then some better posts may come out of it??? Just a thought.
  19. Pretty Much identical to what I had before I got a new Gun Cabinet c/w Ammo Section built in. No problem at all.
  20. Gave Up on a good place Me and My mate shot at 'cos of similar. Any time we went there, and I mean ANY TIME, We always came across folk walking about. Maze of small side tracks more than roads, nearest houses must have been a mile away, but still we came across these folk. No idea what they were doing, or where they were going...Maybe out investigating the BIG WHITE LIGHT
  21. Aye, seen that before. Little c*nt !!!! Honestly think the parents should get taken aside and get their a*ses kicked ! Don't tell me that he's not a little f**ker at any other time.....
  22. Dinna worry, I've been lookin, and sticking in at my Homework OK. I'm just curious to what other folk have to say. Prices vary wildly.
  23. I for one make no claim to know anything about them. I'm just looking for my 1st ever dog. Hoping I can get it to do what I want / need. Interesting to hear other peoples take on it all. It is a pleasure to see some of the good dogs in action. Not expecting any miracles with my attempts, but I'll be giving it my best go. It'll be an education for me as much as the pup.
