pip it is the same as you mention. i'm right handed but shoot off the left shoulder. left eye dominant. i shoot clays well enough wit the bead .but feather . lol well hit and miss . and that little red bead just calls out to me' OI LOOK AT ME ''. think it's gonna have to go. cheers for your input guys.. -

rough shooting saturday at leyburn 'north york's' me and me mate;;no dogs. we put 14 woodcock up and shot 3,, we also got 6 rabbits and 5 pheasant's.

if the rats are daft [not been shot before] use a regular torch. i'v shot tons of rat's in the pig stys with a scout torch and me webley raider. remember use a loose bait. something the rats cant grab and run off with. you want a sloppy liquid type bait, i use soup or the runny slop dregs out the pig slop bins.

if you can put a dead crow or maggie under the owl it works better. plastic owl's are ok. but a real stuffed bird of prey is better. i'v got a manky old stuffed buzzard donkeys years old''not worth a shit. but it is a superb corvid attractor with a dead crow placed under it..

lol yep i'v seen the pissin in the water bowl trick aswell. a mate of mine had a lakie few year back , reasonable dog. if you were walkin, try runnin or joggin the little fock would try and chew yer ankels off. lol

simalar to a thread on lurchers, whats the worst dog you have seen , weird, funny or juste shite. . over the years i'v seen a few. i had a dog that stalked'pounced on and ate it's own shit. i had a dog that tried to shagg the arse off the first fox it seen,,lol, it did turn out a decent dog though. plus i'v had a couple of tail down nervous wreck's,,scared of anything''wheelie bins, card board boxes, pushchairs, bags of shopping lol. anybody else had any gimps.

i use a pair of strong hedge trimmers and secateurs. works fine as long as you not fellin tree's, lol.

it was shot on the lancashire penines by a gamekeeper mate of mine. he like me has seen and killed hundreds of foxes over the years. but we were both shocked when this gimp popped up..lol

i use a tin of soup, ox tail or chicken. just pour out on the floor.not all in one place. pour a few spots out . the rats come out quick and lick it up. plenty 'a' time to drill a slug threw it's nappa.move any dead rats away from the bait. and any blood puddles i sprinkle a bit of earth over it. i have had rat blood go into the chicken soup. makin it a pinky colour. rats still came for it though.

all i can think of is,, there is a product called envirotex. it is a clear liquid which set's into a hard clear acrylic. you sometimes see fly fishing flies set into this on top of stick's. you could mix the ashes with this , then pour into a rebate cut into the top of the stick..

well bloodlines sound good.. but most now are shite, diluted down piss bred to make money. anyway i no longer bother wit terriers , but back in the day when i done alot. i had and seen a few mutts work, most well known bloodlines parkes, nuttall , wheeler, cowan ect ect. some were good' some were not. on the other side i seen a few mutts [unknown breeding] that beat any of the bloodline dogs, and i seen a few good un's. i had a lakie type dog in the early 90's. he was a fockin cracker, face owt , stay forever , heal quick, yep no bloodline..

i have way to many lures aswell. allsorts. but i have caught more fish on my local river tees using spinnerbaits and mepps lusox, my other lures are just there to make up the numbers.. lol.
