    Have an issue with my Marshall telemetry 5 channel - earlier wooden pistol grip model the unit works perfectly which I explained to the main uk supplier but have lost the tension spring at the top that aids with opening the Yagi a simple part to get you would think?? Can anyone help with the dimensions of this spring please ie length open and closed, diameter and possibly thickness of spring coil wire hopefully I can find something suitable to get it back up and running...

    Totally agree if you have support from others just go for it but remember a bird is for life! Get all the equipment you need ready - scales leathers perches and have the mews ready... If you have a dog and intend to use him to hunt with the hawk then introduce them slowly don't just shove them in the same area overnight and hope for the best it takes time! Don't think because your mates have harrises that yours will be able to fly with them in a cast cos it wont happen!

    Would you be interested in a Stihl chainsaw in exchange same value seeing there seems to be loads of wood around.... Hardly used it and great machine!

    The finish on the AA items is terrible as above throwing away 10-15% away with the skirts damaged they are made in the same Czech factory as Jsb exacts and can only think that the AA are rejects no problems using the Exacts tho... Is this a ploy to undermine AA good reputation?? Think they need to consider making there stuff elsewhere when the price is almost identical to the Jsb - European union marvellous aint it...

    Had the same issue with mine but I put it down to the fact that his mother was a ratter hes one tough gringo small but feisty lacks nothing... Had him since 7 weeks and has been handled one hour everyday sometimes out in the 4ft shed and sometimes in enclosed pen with hammock or left to play loose in the house [was going to be for daughter aswel] still the little phecker would bite. A mind of his own partially down to teething tho - really bad around 12-14 weeks teething.     Lot of potassium in egg that's why I always gut the chicks given to my hawk - whether this has adverse affects on the ferts I don't know 1 or 2 a week should be ok?

    Sounds like a great diet but I was always told not to add boiling water to dried food as some of the nutrients are lost by boiling? Always used luke warm personally can anyone else verify this or is it total blarney??

    Got a ferret on order my daughter cant wait and will be using with my goshawk ie white ferret. Already purchased some Alpha and vitalin food but was going to use Day old chicks and ox heart as there available with the hawk, so tried to do some research on the nutritional value of Docs... Must be one of the most difficult items to find out but apparently theres: 64% Protein 22.4% Fat 6.4% Ash 5.8 Kcal/g The important bit - So they do contain reasonable nutritional content hope this helps...

    Looking for small Hob ferret white - black eyes must have small parents of working background... Don't think im asking too much hopefully something in wales but willing to travel/pay. Must be white for use with hawk...

    Think colorado has some serious weather and would be unfair to leave a bird tethered outside...as would be difficult to keep itself warm. In the wild they gorge on anything they can get to survive the winters being at top weight - which in captivity would make them difficult to handle as they do not want to know there "owners". A weather resistant enclosure and a flight area would be required there are guide lines for ownership [uSA] and should be checked with your mentor, after all you want the best for your bird...
