Let's be serious here, a man will spot more out and about than any dog if he's after Hares. He has the massive advantage of being at a much higher vantage point.

Facts are humans can see motionless objects at a distance better than dogs can, this is a FACT is it not??? Don't try and skip my question. The argument you put forward related to me saying my dogs can see game moving better than lads I was with, you stated i must have some canines as humans see better which they dont nothing to do with stationary objects a sight hound doesnt course stationary objects give it up.Where did I state humans can see game moving better than dogs? No it doesn't but a human can spot sitters from a distance to slip the dog on can't they??? You're forgetting a littl

So humans have better long distance sight on stationary targets and dogs have better long distance sight on moving targets...... You're forgetting one major thing though.

I've seen non coursing bred Lurchers catch Hares from a fair distance away when out for a mooch. You would have i ve seen the longest slips for salukis that most dogs wouldnt even attempt tp get on terms, its not a contest between breeds of dog, its dog against hare on any particular day no matter want slant people want to put on itNot just me, the people I've been out with. Most dogs with anything about them would attempt to get on terms. I know different about dogs trying to get on terms I have been out with lads on here who couldnt even see what I had slipped on. I rely on my dogs sight t

Dogs cannot see at a distance as good as humans, do you disagree with that?

Pity they don't react so fast when you've been burgled.....

But he did have ABs that could catch fallow lol f***ing knobA pal had some AB Lurchers and they were very capable on the bigger stuff. But straight ABs.And he actually said it with a straight face. I've seen my brothers AB and it's mother chase a pair of Roe Deer, let's just say they didn't get close even though they were quick for such heavy dogs.

I hope everybody on here is not contributing towards terrorism every time you "freshen up."

It's criminal to think that you can be prevented from that right....

Let's be honest here, any decent 3/4 greyhound cross will catch Hares on a regular basis.

Why not go for a Presa Canario? What Bandog would you want?I might consider a presa if the right litter came up at the right time TBH but I just prefer bandogs personally, never owned a bad one and I seem to click well with their temperament. As for what type well as I said ideally I'd like one with a good bit of neapolitan in it's make up but the quality of the sire and dam themselves will always be more important than the individual breeds in their make up to me. Why not go down the Swinford route and use English Mastiff?Good quality neos are not the easiest of things to find.Good quality E
