  1. I waited up all night for the fight, gutted with the outcome ! . . Especially as I thought Pacquiao was looking so good, winning the opening 2, got dumped in the 3rd, even 4th, took control in 5th, I thought he was finishing the show in 6th, then BOOM!!! Peach of punch, perfectly timed, job done. . Manny paid for his complacency! He'll be back. . Well done J M Marquez! Another Marvellous Mexican.
  2. Impressive, came in at some knots by the look of it!
  3. I can't keep up with all the posts boys. . But here's my thoughts. . Calzaghe ? Fit as a fiddle, durable, very high work rate and evidently had the knack of winning. . He displayed his guts when digging deep against Eubank, Reid, Hopkins. . He had good skills, but it was his fitness, durability and work rate that made him the boxer he was. . But let's remember he was a WBO champion for the best part of a decade (the least prestigious of the four major titles) largely super middleweight (not the most prestigious of weight devisions) the welsh dragon didn't fly away from his home patch other th
  4. There is no question of Joe's guts and heart once he was "in" the ring. His desire to win was second to none.
  5. Lol come on, Joe would have been trashed by Hopkins and Jones at their best! Especially Roy Jones Jnr! Miss match. Don't let records impress boys, it only means you've beat what's in front of you. Nothing more.
  6. Thanks for the link Irish. GSP - Animal.
  7. looking to give bute another warning before the rematch .... I wonder if Bute will want the rematch after that tonight stig. . It's one thing getting beaten on the road, quite another being beaten at home.
  8. 3rd round is what I'm thinking. Froch has got the bit between his teeth, can't see him being denied, just a matter of when he catches him.
  9. Fair play to the dogs owner. . I think I would have run the other way! Brilliant.
  10. Each to their own, I think it looks quite smart! No use to me though. I'm sure it will sell no probs.
  11. Alright folks. . Due to my impulsive and irresponsible nature, I committed to buying TWO lurcher dog pups. But I've come to the realisation that I can only possibly manage ONE. One all cream dog and one brindle. I will keep the one that is not bought, as other than colour there is nothing to choose from them. The pups have dew claws removed and are ready to go come Friday, they are very well bred. . The dam is a 25.5" saluki/greyhound x deerhound/greyhound and the sire is a 27" saluki/greyhound. Both are 5 years old and well proven. The lineage of both parents is stellar, with well known
  12. I feed my dogs 2 medium sized mugs of Skinners Field and Trial late morning/midday, 1 muesli mix and 1 superior. i feed them offal and chicken carcass in the evening. As well as a bone or 3 throughout the week. . They seem to be doing alright..? I do feed them the morning before going out 10pm. I wouldn’t like the idea of boxing on the same day as not eating anything! Don't take my advice; I'm relatively uneducated on a dog feeding and digestion system. . I'm open to change, so long as it makes sense to me. All the best
  13. Opps, my bad boys. I thought Jones was giving Machida a rematch! (just read the story on that) Do we think that Belfort would give Jones a better fight than Sonnen?? I agree that Silva (as good as he is) would have all the trouble in the world with the likes of Rua, Evans and Machida. Broke my heart when Jones beat the shogun Can anyone beats Jones?!? . . The man is an animal.
  14. What are you dipsticks talking about?!? Jon Jones would murder Chael Sonnen! He's not interested in the fight, because he's got bigger fish to fry. Anderson Silva stepping up, I wouldn't expect Jones to shy away from that one. Yours in sport TFM.
  15. I have seen the sire , dam and pups. I wouldn't hesitate at recommending one of these. If I wasn't fully stocked, I'd be having one, for sure. All the best with them J
  16. Okay chaps. Can anyone give me any feed back regarding this fleece? It's on JN for pretty much half the price anywhere else. Feed back on quality and function would be appreciated. Thanks
  17. That is one Fine looking pup. Dog ?
  18. I picked the bitch pup up for a friend from this litter, I'm not into spaniels, yet, but if I was this pup would've been coming home with me! All three pups were cracking looking things, strong and healthy. Jeff is a gentleman, upfront and honest. A pleasure to meet.
  19. I said I would cull them because I wouldnt want to be responsible for 8-10 pups being passed from pillar to post if they turned out useless. Is that so bad? You didn't state that pal, but I would agree with you, I'd rather cull than see or hear of something being knocked from piller to post. The lesser of two evils I feel. . ATB
  20. Elaboration taken into account vin, as they say "seeing is believing" you've seen, I'll take your word for it. And yes, I'm sure they would have excelled with bigger game. Shame about the bitch. ATB
  21. Hmmm I've given thought to this potential breeding before, but came to the conclusion that the cross probably wouldn't provide anything more in a dog that hasn't already been proven in an established cross. As for "splattering" day time hares for fun, hmm I wonder under what circumstance. . I think salukis would be out of business if that were true! As for keeping two pups and "culling" the rest...? O KAY. Bottom line for me, get a cross that's already proven and save the puppies! Yours in sport.
  22. The man breeds a few puppies (to say the least) so on the law of avareges alone, he's gonna throw some good dogs. Whether you rate them or not, depends on what and where you are running I suppose - they're not for me, at this moment in time. I'll leave it to the more established dog men to elaborate on the topic, but I will say this, having met David and his daughter Sally, they are very nice people.
