    I try and keep a un bias view of these posts and try and stay neutral, and look at it this way. If the rifle is as good as all the different reviews say. If it really is as accurate as Simon shows in his clips. If it can compete with a pcp then surely what he does in bringing it to the attention of the shooting groups is a good thing wouldn't you agree? Nothing worse than a big secret that just an elite few keep to themselves without sharing.     Why don't you join the VerminHuntersTV Facebook group as there are a lot of members in there with Imps or waiting on a Imp to be tuned. I watched a bit of new Imp footage this morning that Simon Pittaway uploaded of him shooting tiny targets at 63 yards then a wood pigeon at 68 yards with his .22 Imp.     After shooting an Imp last week I have to disagree about a HW97 out shooting a Imp, tuned or not to the max. Match yes, out shoot definitely not. Its as you say shooter dependant and a good shot with an Imp would slaughter a average shot with a 97 and vica versa. The Imp may well seem a light rifle and some with little or no experience would think its going to be bouncy, hard to hold on target like a 95 say but that's not the case with a the Imp from my trying of it.     Hello gentlemen, There is a lot of good advice in this forum gentlemen but i wanted to pass this on. I myself have just picked up my first Sandwell Field Sports tuned HW rifle after reading reviews on the company and watching certain You Tube channels. To be honest at first i was sceptical of these reviews and results demonstrated on You Tube from these rifles especially when i knew that some of the demos were being done and shown on You Tube by SFS sponsored shooters.     I am a member of the VHTV Face Book site and have just seen this earlier this afternoon which I find astonishing. Now I used to live near Simon so know him better than some , but not as good as others on here and i do know Simon loves to play jokes on people so I wanted to ask, do you think that this photo is true or a VHTV wild up? 64 yards with a .22 Sandwell Field Sport spring piston Imp and 3 shots.     Ok then here's a question. 1 rifle Spring piston and 1 rifle pcp. No tuning or alterations allowed what would you choose for each rifle? I'll pick a HW100KT in .177 closely followed by a BSA Ultra SE. Air Arms Pro Sport closely followed by a HW95K.

    That's strange you saying that about BSA barrels Andy97. It contridicts everything I've ever read in this forum from past threads and on the internet as a whole. Im really not sure where and on what grounds you have made that statement but it kind of makes me feel your making it up and as you have in many of your recent posts are playing the Devils Advocate. You can read about lads with rapids changing their barrels for BSA barrels as the way they are made makes them very accurate.     Brilliant little rifles. I own one myself and am just getting the Ultra Se too. I have a friend who shoots a Rapid 7 and friends with other well established pcps and the Ultra Se matches them all shot for shot for accuracy. Even the now legendary HW100 cannot out shoot the Ultra Se for accuracy as I have seen with my own eyes. One of my friends has just sold his Rapid 7 to buy a Ultra Se after testing one. His exact words were "amazing". With 40 - 45 shots in .177 and 50 - 55 in .22 that's enough for a check zero, plink and some hunting before a re pump is needed. Pellet wise Air Arms seem ver

    With the way you comment Andy97 you seem to have a bone to pick with people, Simon being one of them. From looking back at old posts Simon and Davy were on here posting a long time before VHTV was established and with lots of good friends by the look of it so your final comment was uncalled for, be it your own opinion.     I've spoken to Simon over the past few days and he is in good spirits. He sends everyone his regards and best wishes. As Moxy eluded Simon is too busy to spend time on this forum, the YouTube channel, his shared Facebook group and with his wife and son while trying to film and produce a new DVD with Dave so he's decided to leave the Hunting Life forum for the next foreseeable future. I sort of get the feeling he feels he has nothing more to offer the group and he as passed on what he knows now.     I'm sure if you were to read the comments left by the original poster and others who commented after watching the clip on YouTube you would see that this clip was not made as a fun jesting clip and more of a nasty attack on Simon and Dave.     I've just sold my Ultra for a Ultra SE after reading posts on Facebook by Si Pittaway and watching him shoot his on YouTube. Best thing I have done. I loved my MMC and didn't think it could be improved but how wrong I was. I now fill to 220 bar as recommended by Si and get 42 consistent shots before it starts to drop off. With A A Field pellets this rifle groups tighter than ever before and shoots nicer and easier than my friends pcps. So much so that they are going to sell theirs to buy a SE. My advice is try a SE and join the VHTV group on Facebook. What a great group with nice members alway

    Forgot to say that the other pcps are a HW100T and a Rapid 7 so not rubbish weapons. Anyone else shoot a Ultra and what do you think.

    My BSA Ultra wins my mates Rapid Mk 2 and other mates HW100 almost every time we go out and have a little competition between us all. I'm not saying its more accurate so please don't take the lamb to the slaughter, and non of us are brilliant shots, we are all average, but what I am saying is it can easily match the Rapid MK 2 and the HW100. I was going to sell it and buy a HW100, as I find the HW100 a better rifle than the Rapid, but I don't think there is any reason now and am just enjoying it. Its funny though as my mates are thinking of selling their rifles and buying the new BSA Ultra SE

    That’s some very nice shooting there Simon , and only the second time I have ever watched you shooting from that particularly difficult position with an air rifle. I have to say that was very impressive to say the least . You sir are definitely the real deal and I don’t think anyone can have any doubts about that after watching that display of marksmanship. 29mm target, 27 yards, 3 out of 3 and standing unsupported too. Brilliant . I think that there will be a lot of HFT shooters wandering which league you will be entering and hoping it’s not theirs. See you again soon at the meet Simon.

    I am in awe of all of you that attended this event and congratulate Davy and Charlie for organising it. Looking at the film above and seeing the fun and enjoyment that adults and children alike obviously had was a real pleasure for me. This type of film shows what friendships can be formed and bonded when people that join an internet forum get together for a shooting weekend enjoying a common interest.     Gentlemen I cannot see the problem here at all with this video or the way Si has gone about and conducted himself in this short clip. He stated that it was in answer to some threads on here and he knew that he would get negative comments for showing the clip. That to me says a lot about a man and his integrity and selfless commitment to find out the truth and educate others in subjects not so well understood or known. It also shows to me that he has took the time and effort to get out with his camera and actually film something with his own skills that the majority of us on here if I'm honest

    I totally agree with your justification there sir. It would be nice though to see some of the shots you do at long range, either on targets or vermin if this is a normal occurance for you in the right weather conditions. What is this about the long range night shoot sir and who are the 2 members that have entered this? I watched your very good YouTube channel VerminHuntersTV and saw the long shot that Si did over 60 yards on a rabbit with a NV camera showing the cross hairs and the hold over he applied to kill that bunny, surely thats long range especially at night isnt it?     Thank Gaz for finding time to reply to my question. I thought it would have been something along those lines of what Si and Davy demonstrated for you. I have read from others on this forum including heard personally from some gentlemen who used to serve within the military with Si from my local public house state what a good shot Si is especially with a military rifle. I know he as won many medals for shooting with a military weapon and against other nations army’s as well. Credit due where credit deserved I say.
