So it's basically a VHF high band radio. I'd be interested to see if Ofcom let it be used in this country as it falls right in the middle of a very busy frequency range albiet 2W and not the full 5W that is available to PMR users.

Left Eye, Right Handed...
Axholmeman replied to Axholmeman's topic in Rimfire, Centrefire & Shotguns
Although I can't determine the level of dominance if i do the test in the link below I am very "left eyed". http://www.wikihow.com/Determine-Your-Dominant-Eye -
If you have permissions and are all sorted then whichever is you think is best. If however you are still searching for permissions then I found that BASC was the best as most of the old farmers were well aware of it and what it does, mentioning it got me straight on a couple of places.

As a kid I used to shoot shotgun right handed and was right eye dominant but over the years and during my long absence from shotguns I have somehow become left eye dominant. Other than shooting left handed or closing my left eye I'm thinking about 'retraining' my right eye using a 5" fibre optic sight on my gun. Has anyone tried this with any success? Are there any other things I could try? Cheers

I have been a member on here for quite some time but I have accumulated less than 10 posts, so I thought that I'd reintroduce myself. I'm from North Lincolnshire. I am an active user on an "airgun forum" but under a different username. I have decided that I need to glean a little more than just airgun info from yourselves as I have been invited onto a local driven shoot. It's only a small shoot, we keeper it ourselves, in certain areas (away from pens) I can even keep the pigeons down. As soon as I've got the childcare costs for the summer holidays done I'm on the lookout for another sho

Thinking Of Buying A Side By Side...
Axholmeman replied to Axholmeman's topic in Rimfire, Centrefire & Shotguns
Cheers guys. My local RFD has a few AYA's in, I shall go in and take a look, shoulder a few and probably add another gun to my cabinet. I will also search for the sales thread. -
I'm thinking of buying a side by side and I'm asking for a bit of advice. Ideally I'd like an ejector and single trigger with switchable barrel safety but on a budget of £200-300ish I know that I'm highly unlikely to get all this. My reason for this purchase is I have become a member of a local shoot and would like to take something other than my semi. My main questions are: 1. What make/model would be in my budget? 2. What make/model should I avoid at all cost? 3. When I pick one to look at what should I be looking for? ie: common S/S faults. Cheers

Cheers guys. I've got full BASC insurance and I'm always polite and courteous. Hope it pays off.

First off hello folks! I have just about everything I need to have a couple of hours decoying for pigeons all I need is a field to shoot over. I have a couple lined up but they won't be ready for a while. What is the best way to approach a farmer and ask to shoot over his rape/cereal stubble? I'm not after a permenant permission (although it would be nice). It's not just the approach I need help with it's how do you guys find out which fields belong to which farm? Cheers in advance!

Hello reIative Noob here. I have a few air rifles and I'm just getting into shotguns. So I'm here to ask for advice and to learn things that aren't so easy to pick up on your own. I also like fishing but due to having a small child not had the time this year at all!
