That is the first effects of the anaesthetic, it renders the animal unconscious, but the animal is still alive. Depending on the size of the animal death from a heart attack actually occurs from between one and three minutes after the animal is injected. As the animal is unconscious it knows nothing about it. TC after she injected the dog she then listened to the dogs heart and told us it had stopped it was no way 3 mins and and the dog just letting out little breaths of air but was dead and she told us this would happen

iv just took a friends staff x to the pdsa to be pts as it was suffering,basically it was on its way out,they gave it an injection in its leg while i held it and the 3 family members watching sobbing their hearts out,i was choked myself but in no way did that dog take 3 mins to die and just looked like it was fast asleep on the table in seconds

f**k the challenge why not just get out and enjoy watching other people shoot a catty and give them a few pointers were their going wrong,,kranky,s a good lad hes helped me out he always posted good threads and knows his stuff so id like to see him back

i use 9.5mm for all the above but i would put it down to preference,,ie some like 12mm lead but then you need double bands to get the power to shoot them,just have a look at some of the kills on this page and most are using single tbg or asda bands
