    just finnished a job on a oil refinery, young local lads wanting work but poles and checs getting it. load of shite. never had a problem till i saw it first hand. and im unemployed now aswell even bigger load of shite

    have been reading this all morning, loved it, you sure are a tough breed out there. and i dont know if i will quite feel the same sense of acheivement next time i walk home after the terrier has nailed a rabbit or rat. keep it comming

    what ever you do dont take your dog out with someones ferrets if you are not 100 percent that it wont attack them. as for experience dogs can only learn by being taken out and finding out the hard way. trial and error.

    crorider, i wont go down the road of what tag to put onyour canine buddy, but if i were you i would not go looking for permision just yet, leave that to people who have the right tools for the job. by that i mean trained dogs that know the trade, i would reccomend finding somewhere that holds a few bunnys and walking the fields and hedgerows,

    hard to tell from the vid, you must admit its not your best, if thay are birds of pray most likely buzzards, buzzards and kites are the only ones you see more than one at a time

    never seen that vid before, bit like worlds best crashes. but back to the birds, its always been a dream of mine to train and fly a hawk but time and money stops alot of dreams

    very good shots mate, dogs look well. i would love to have a couple of ferrets and a good dog again, cant beat it

    eggs are fine but to much raw will leave them with loose droppings. cooked are easier to digest

    i grew up with track and extrack dogs, and always prefered watching them run in fields or on the beach. in my experience with ex track dogs you have trouble getting them to jump higher than the couch. but i have always wanted a gray from a pup to see what you can realy teach them.

    not going to go into when to start a dog working,a friend of mine also let his dogs at a young age rag and kill rabbitts. which i dont think made them any keener. it just made his catch nothing but ferret fodder. if you end up with a hard mouthed dog so be it, but i would always try and get a clean retrieve first. but then i like rabbit as much as dogs and ferrets.

    i like a dog that can get you both something to eat, no nets , no ferrets, no gun, but if there is bunnys about it will find and catch one.
