    got my second pigeon last night with vulcan. one shot one kill for 15 minutes wasnt bad. really impressed with the vulcan despite it being nearly 30 years old it is still full power and is very accurate. havnt got a picture of it as you all know what a pigeon looks like. atb

    been almost 2 months since i last shot anything (bunny rabbit) due to problems with my gun but tonite i finally got one. sorry for the poor picture had to take it on my laptop. got this woodie at the roost tonite good clean chest shot and fell to the ground with a wonderfull thud

    ive noticed that aswell. ive only ever shot 1 woodie in the head and it was flapping alot yet the other ones ive shot where all in the chest and they were all cleaner kills.

    i learned the hard way how fast they can strike when i put my wellie over a hole and the b*stard grabbed it. luckily it only punctured my wellie not my skin

    ime looking at some air arms diablo pellets and theres two different sizes 4.51mm and 4.52mm so is there any difference apart from size between them?

    thanks for the replies lads. i had an inkling it mite be the pellets, like i said i didnt want the bulldogs i was after some accupels. ile try some better qualilty pellets and hopefully ile start to get better results.

    ive been using my dads old air rifle at the moment and ime not having a great time at all. Its a gas ram theoben sirocco 177 nearly 30 years old and when ive been zeroing it the pellet placement is ridiculous. i only zero from about 20 yards and at that distance it should be spot on. However it isnt. Ive seen people on here with groupings that can be covered by a 1p coin at over 30 yards but mine cant be coverd by a bloody tuna tin. now i zero of a pillow case full of sand so its very stable and when i decide whether i need to adust the scope i will do accordingly. usually the 1st shot at a ta

    thanks for the reply lads ile try and get it pulled out because once it has gone its gone and it cant give me any more bother

    just been to dentist for 1st ime in years (hate the b*stards) and my teeth or fine apart fom one and it may need the dreaded root canal. now ide rather get it pulled out and be done with it but if the root canal actually works then i mite have to get that. so has anyone else had one and are they worth it. cheers.
