  1. My best jill had zero interest in a rabbit the second it dead or in a net. But a superb finder and could find a rabbit in a haystack no messing and could be relied on a 110% no pissing about straight to task
  2. Ripping a bit of skin off takes 10 seconds it's the breaking into they struggle with the kibble ones just not used to it. But if they are hungry you would think they would catch on quick if your into tough love lol
  3. yea skin it at least I found with mine they just get lazy and prefer kibble at times. I feed a mix of both
  4. yes it was a bit of a tricky one. My gran had after she did her leg in lamping. Then gran died and I had her back and they dotted on each other. So it was the last thing of hers so sort of a double whammy. Any way be a bloody miracle if the present black blunderbus gives me that concern
  5. But in all seriousness we did let her go on too far but its hard making the decision near the end. She had a good life that is the main thing
  6. We let ours go on a bit to long and she actually fell in the fire
  7. bloody miracle for a lurcher to die of old age or reach the end of line
  8. the ones from the poundland wont lol but you can see them 30 yards away
  9. glow stick on collar is handy I used to curse mine thinking he was running around the field but he was sat a yard in front of me but then I am blind as a bat
  10. pretty sure the beddy whippet hit near 18 or thereabouts. The gran gave her a cuppa every morning must have been the caffeine lol
  11. yes can't yap with a mouth full of rabbit needs easy runs i am guessing and not over matching early. Not that I got a clue lol. Mine used to let out a little squeak if he was up close and couldn't quite nail it. Just deadly silent now he knows the score and he aint no whippet
