  1. Any one recommend a good point and shoot camera please that can take decent pics regardless of the lighting like under tree's etc in the shade. Or is that not feasible ? I don't want this

  4. A few folks stuff some thing on the hedge to force them out like that red plastic mesh stuff you see on road works etc. Just more stuff to carry but depends how easy it is too access

  8. My fella is still with me. Been out a handful of times just getting up to speed. No signs of any previous injuries popping up yet though I am sure knowing him he will add some fresh ones soon

  10. yea used to feed bread and milk as a kid because the old fella told me so. Makes me cringe thinking back. Them poor sods ate meat no worries when they got chance
  11. Yea they don't hunt for grub that is for sure that is why all this old lark of starving ya ferrets before working don't wash any more
  12. My best jill had zero interest in a rabbit the second it dead or in a net. But a superb finder and could find a rabbit in a haystack no messing and could be relied on a 110% no pissing about straight to task
  13. Ripping a bit of skin off takes 10 seconds it's the breaking into they struggle with the kibble ones just not used to it. But if they are hungry you would think they would catch on quick if your into tough love lol
  14. yea skin it at least I found with mine they just get lazy and prefer kibble at times. I feed a mix of both
  15. yes it was a bit of a tricky one. My gran had after she did her leg in lamping. Then gran died and I had her back and they dotted on each other. So it was the last thing of hers so sort of a double whammy. Any way be a bloody miracle if the present black blunderbus gives me that concern
  16. But in all seriousness we did let her go on too far but its hard making the decision near the end. She had a good life that is the main thing

  20. glow stick on collar is handy I used to curse mine thinking he was running around the field but he was sat a yard in front of me but then I am blind as a bat
  21. pretty sure the beddy whippet hit near 18 or thereabouts. The gran gave her a cuppa every morning must have been the caffeine lol
