    Very true many a time walked off the beach with a bass in me bag. Caught any ? Nope complete waste of time ? Bass were in early one year and some one posted it some where. You couldn't bloody move on the beach bus loads of folks descended

    Like a lot of things they get consultants in who all ready have an opinion. On facebook i bumped into some woman who claimed to have to done the research paper on ecollars for defra. She was most definitely biased against them lol so why get her to do a paper on the pros and cons. Shambles

    Well as a non trapper it is pretty obvious them juby's are a better design. I have seen plenty of your pics and the catches all ways look clean as can be and solid kills.

    That is the down side to it. Space and cropping time. I sow it a bit late then pot on and try and hold in pots for as long as I can then plant out.

    Few bits doing well in the green house. Chuffed with these got few logan berries on the plots. Really nice so took some cuttings and look like they are taking.

    I have noticed that too this year the numbers have increased since the rabbits have gone. So I guess they have no choice but to spread out I guess

    I can stand on a hill where I have never seen a hare in forty years yet look across to another hill 2-3 miles as the crow flies and there are hares there. So if they don't like the place you won't change that

    There's some thing about shiny ferret boxes. Might be why I can't move in my bloody shed. But despite all my super dooper boxes I all ways use this one bought off ebay years ago. Light strong and holds two ferrets done

    Are they any good ? Looking for a nice hot cuppa down the allotment or on the beach. I gather you just stuff some thing combustible in the bottom and light it up ? When I snuff it the girls are going to have great fun sorting out all the shite I bought over the years ?

    I like a dexter wedge for the bass some thing you lob out a fair way if needed. Seems to work well for them. Good in lower tidal parts of rivers Might pump some blacks and have a dabble for a bass next weekend. Rabbiting over with now. I did have visions of idyllic evenings on the beach with the dog but once he twigged what was going on if he sees me reeling in a fish he goes storming off in the surf and tries to pummel mr spikey with a 6/0 in its chops His such a tit lol

    Aye same. Mine came back as fast as he went straight at me. What a good lad I though then he flew straight by me heading for some farm building where we had seen a charlie but he was on a lead at the time ? But I managed to apply the breaks that time

    scruffy is the future lol. I was out with my black plonker this morning His snout hit the floor and I could see what was coming and tried to put him on a stop but too late. Few seconds later he was a black spec going over the horizon. Full on is not the word. Scruffy and a bit more laid back for me next time
